Si, it is a vortex. I think it was rated at 449cfm. This was a case of the guy at the hydro store selling me something way more powerful and expensive than I need. It is good and bad at the same time. Burns my cash faster but at least I don't have to upgrade down the road or be too underpowered and loose a crop.
well i just got my 4x4x6.5 bud boxx up and running. Like a charm. Its the hottest part of the day and i ran tests with the 400 hps on using my 6 inch duct reducer fan i got from htg garden for liek 30 dollars and i kept the temps down to 83 pretty solid! thats far beyond my expectations. I was worried but the damn reducer actually lowered the temps before i had the system turned on. I beleive the fan is 250 cfm. I have a passive intake and i can fill the air being pulled in. I pleased, finally, i had just spent another 40 dollars for 4 inch duct and reducers as i the tent is 4 inch exhausts. 95 dollars on ebay! huge but good deal
