Grow Tents - Question about the smell...

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have experience with growing in a tent as compared to a grow cabinet/chamber.
I heard that when growing with a tent, it's not as effective at keeping in the smell as a chamber/cabinet and odor control can be a big problem. Is this true??
Or can the smell be dealt with effectively with the proper equipment? Odor is a big concern since I live in an apartment.

the tent works just like a cabinet, its just portable. and in either instance, odor control is needed. i grew in a cab w/o a filter and it was noticable even in veg. when i upgraded to the tent i also got a filter. only time i notice the smell is when i leave the door open.

moral of the story, cab or tent ull need odor control.

Thank you! That's what I thought as well. I think I'll prbly use a tent then, since it's a much cheaper alternative, and see how that plays out.
What kind of filter do you recommend? I need some really good odour control since I'm going to be doing it in my apartment.
