this is to all the grow tent people and manufactures of tents ....pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee insulate youre tentsssssss or buy the one thats insulated the best... without insulation temps are gonna fly through the roof..so when you think about buying one think about that because its just a box ...and if you think youre gonna run the tent without no ac or some sort going in there youre gonna be screwed with temp problems ...sooooooooooo to all those tent companies reps INSULATE YOURE TENTS ....ALL THE TENTS ARE PRETTY EQUAL BUT THAT INSULATION THING WILL MAKE OR BREAK YOURE HARVEST

420, there's a hater on the site....some dude called StopFrontinfool, who replied in his thread

he seemed like he joined just b/c of me, and i noticed it was his first post. I, however am not so naive, or should i say dumb! His user name was created as an insult, imo. Futhermore, he comes off as a salesman of Sunhut or Hydrofarm HH. He continues to bash Secret Jardin but to conclude that its the only tent that wont poison your plants....kinda funny.

He claims to help or whatever and with the way he posted he's implying that he's the only person who goes to hydroponic gadgets conventions and shit.... kinda funny if you ask me.

So, you would advise against any tents, minus the secret jardin? I got a guy that I was gonna buy two hydro hut minis, and a 4x4 hut, and he was gonna give me a killer deal, with some fans and flanges included. So, my question is should I decline the deal? He said he got the two minis in exchange for the recalled ones that kill plants. Still not a good idea????? Any suggestions or advise would be greatly appreciated. I have done my research and decided against huts, except the secret jardin, but they are so hard to find. Please and thanks.

you are way off base dude! Yeah, I go to shows and I talk to people and that gives me valuable experience. I pointed out that 2-3 weeks ago there was no great alternative to the Darkroom and then the Sunhut was released and I pointed out that it was an alternative.

If you can't hang with that, then keep fantasizing. Just because someone goes up against what you are saying doesn't mean that you have to start a fight, but here you are, fragile ego and all.

I am no hater but I will point out when someone or some company is bullshitting. Now that you've started this, I'm glad to be under your skin.

How can you say "I am no hater but..." you are hating, don't say you are not.

When is comes to tents I have heard and experienced nothing but great results with the Secret Jardin. You must be new around here, there has been multiple threads about the Hydrohut, SunHut, GrowBox, all of them and there has been debate over all except the Secret Jardin. It is the only tent that i see a majority of people argee that they never have had any serious (like hydrohut) problem. I remember one guy that couldn't work the zipper but besides that i have never heard anything bad or experience anything bad with The Jardin.

So in conclusion, you are not under my skin, i just dont like seeing little punks bad mouthing my peeps. Learn what it is to argue and voice opinions with out becoming a hypocrite....

I pointed out that the Darkroom had some serious flaws, namely the zippers and the flaps. It seems that I've been correct and vindicated since the new Darkroom models are now shipping with new zippers and better flaps to keep the light in. You failed to point that out in your tirade.

The Darkroom and maybe the Homebox (still not convinced) were the only tents on the market that didn't kill plants. So, there wasn't much debate to be had. If you wanted a real debate then try going back in time when before the tents were killing plants and seeing how many happy people there were (still are) with those other tents.

Darkroom is making a cheap tent that is too expensive. It has been on the market since the beginnig of the year in the states. I've said it all along. Sunhut just hit the market with their new version and look for the other brands to do the same. We'll see how long you think your shitty made tent is so great at its inflated price.

May I remind you that the entire Street version of the darkroom is a piece of shit and is being discontinued. You forgot that too.

i've said before that i wasnt all over you, i simply mentioned what happened. a little without tact maybe, but thats it.

i said if that wasnt your intent, then i apologize, shit is cool.

but you must realize, first impressions are everything. you say my ego is fragile...but how is that? because im playing devils advocate and not going off the word of just one person (that being you) ? that is sad my friend, sad!

we already know the street version are shitty, but in all reality who buys the street version? common sense would tell you that is not the way to go.


you still have to come up with reason and facts as to why the secret jardin is flawed. you've just said that sunhut hasnt fixed the poisoning problem but yet you say secret jardin has fixed its zipper and flap problem? what gives? you still wont give props where due. and that my friend is where you come off as a salesman/business man

LoL i wasn't trying to be then end all word on grow tents man, i was simply stating what i have learned about them from my research and my time here. I did mention the zippers sorry it was specific enough for you. I knew the Street versions were crap... i mean come on who didn't... you fail to provide me with any new information and come off sounding like you and you alone posses all the information on all the grow tents. Get off your high horse and don't get so offended.... you forgot to do that.....
