for anyone who has does the supersoil in 7 gallon buckets..


how long does your plant usually stay in the 1 gallon pots before you put it into a 7gallon?

how do you guys sex the plants? do you just take a clone and then flower the clone?

thanks for stopping by i appreciate it. ive pretty much read every single thread in this subforum no joke. but even in your instructions you dont really have a timeline which is kinda what i was asking for. in your vids you said its time to transplant once the roots are coming out of the 1 gallon pots into the new ones. i was just wondering approximately how long that takes..ie like around Week 4 - Takes clones... Week 6 - transplant to final 7 gallon pot.

Id say like 3 weeks max I am lucky and have lots of veg room floor space though I top early and let them get rooted but not enough to start a spiral root ball you want a loose root mass when its done so like a month max dont let em get root bound is the key

Most hybrids will indicate males around 45 days and then I place suspected males in 12/12 to confirm.
The ones that dont show male at day 45 are generally females,
You can pre sex a plant if ya have good eyes with 4 days of 12/12 and then place back into 18/6 with no shock but it takes a keen eye

yea some males just take a loing while to show my jtrs were are going for 2 and half months now and the first 2 males showed up right at day 27ish so i thought that was it nd started to clone the rest then at aroound day 40-45 another one turned male so had to get rid of him and the clones then just 2 days ago 2 more of the "mother plkants" finally matured but luckily i see nothing but hairs now no nuts

ahh ok well i was gonna try and see if i could save some supersoil but i suppose by the time they start showing preflowers it will be too late and theyll already be in 7 gallon pots. crap.
any recommendations on the best way to go about it if i were to crack 5 beans?
also its alright to start cloning around the 3-4th week right?

save the super soil for pure veg periods and just keep the mothers your gonna sex alive in a heavy wormcasting/base soil mix with some small top dressing with super soil to give it some live and the mothers will show sex eventually

what i meant by that is if your incups and under fluors dont bother with super soil put it in when you put them in that container your gonna be vegging under mh and then flowering i use SS with 2.5 gals filled little more than halfway with a 3-4 week veg under mh and works beatufialy

sorry you kinda lost me. i was thinking along the lines of how sub would do it for the way he grows like with vegging for 2 months then flowering. since he said he transplants around 3 weeks max that would mean its aleady in the 7 gallon container. id imagine he tops shortly after transplaning right?

he tops VERY early yes and not sure i know if i use 7.5gals i can fill 20 of those containers halfway with one batch so right aorudn 9-10 buckets halfway
