HAHAHA!!! Ya never know....those babies are gonna shoot right up on ya :) Are you gonna leave em in the 2l bottles?

I'd bring that big light you have with the reflector all the way down 3" from the tops and use the other ones to hug around it. Cradle those babies in light :)

"Keep your cfl's close.....but your cfl's closer" lol!!

yeah safety has been a constant issue in the closet, because the airflow makes that reflector swing at sometimes i havent been able to put those close enough to the plants because i need them out of swinging distance of the other bulbs [just in case :/] but yes i completely agree if i could stabilize that and get it down it would be wonderful but right now in that i have the supplementary bulbs because their light isn't as important right now but could still be used. Yes im keeping them in the 2Ls just this time and see how my space works out if i got tons of extra room ill go bigger next time but for now im gonna go with small plants BIG buds :D cus trust me once those buds start showing im getting each bulb like 1-2 inch away i want some thick tasty buds!! :D

To help with the swinging.. hmmm.. is there anything you could fit in the closet like a chair or something? or even something lower might work. Attach a cord or chain to the reflector and have that pulled down taut at an angle that still allows it to be positioned correctly but limits movement by being an anchor of sorts. That's what I did with my ghetto reflector and now it doesn't budge.

Also happy late 4/20 lag! :D

wtf -_____-

congrats on the pistils Lag! :)
Who needs a "proper" container?
My big babies are 5-gallon hole-drilled home depot buckets and my bagseed is flowering in an apple juice bottle. She's almost done, and I never even bothered to to cover the transparent sides! "Resourceful" grows are the way to go. :P

Proper containers lulz. Everything container ive ever used was previously something for me to drink out of. I dont believe in waste. Recycle, Reuse, Reduce....

On that note, this is looking good; are those just 100% "hempy" perilite buckets suspended in a bubbling nute mix? I want to try something like this with my next grow but something along the lines of 85% perlite 15% coco and just using passive wick with 4-5 buckets and a wick tray.

my idea of a proper container = anything that can hold dirt, anything i can drill holes in, and is not translucent. if it lets more air travel through, thats a plus. wired trash cans are the shit as far as DIY pots go, i've got like 3 at home but im always buying plants at home depot so ive got a shit ton of excess pots.

one is 100% the other is soil just with perlite at the top cus she was pulling kinda far from the top of the soil haha the left one [bigger one] is the hempy. I'm using a passive hydro setup, the perlite has a small amount of nutes in it but im adding mostly myself as we go on.

zoot i can understand your point im doing a small grow though in a closet, which is especially hard with two plants if it was just one i probably would of already transplanted to a gallon bucket but these bottles can work all the way through i got a link of an amazing bottle grow perpetual im gonna grab the link now.

View attachment 2135767heres some pics using exact set up as me except a 400W hps and a SOG not passive
Yeah this is along the lines of what im looking for next round. Maybe 8-10 2 liters, staggered stages though for perpetual. If i could just harvest say 15g or so a month, id be set. I'm really not into the typical SOG just because i HATE the way a single cola looks. I dont know what it is about lolipopping but it drives me insane, cant stand it.

haha i kinda felt the same way too. The lollipop looks like SO MUCH but then the guy doing the perpetual sog said 19gs a plant i was like wow, looks like much more. He had 119 plants in like a 1 and a half month span though so do the math.
