i think you missed the humor

Im done arguing the point about MG with yas, because its coming across as me supporting them wich isnt the case either. However, MG does work if you want to use it. You just HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY

Good luck to anyone growing with anything.

ah yeah not true.. granted I agree that it might possibly turn out slightly better in other soils with you personally adding nutes but if you know what youre doing, you can learn from the MG soil and grow really well in it.I mean my first grow was in MG soil and it turned out beautifully, it just took some time to learn the ways of the soil so I didnt kill my plant. Nothing against your thread.. just correcting you a bit

i think there was enough of us to prove the mg fearmongers wrong. it may not be the best in some of your opions but i seen some pretty nice harvests. i'll use it again.

hey guys, my entire point is that u can use any growing medium and grow amazing plants as long as u understand a plants needs. Ive done 100s of hours of research and that is why my grows are successful.. I use Botanicare, Earth Juice, Fox farm, entire nutrient lines as well as earthworm castings and other organic soil addatives.. it all comes down to understanding your plants..

Okay so my plants are starting to have some trouble in the MG MC. they're at day 14 and one has some rust like spots forming ... I'm thinking it's ph related and wanted to double check how my water is. I fill a gallon water jug up with faucet water (chicago city water), leave the cap off and let it sit for a couple days. Is that small cap opening enough? (It's like a gallon of milk)

Maybe try and use the shower to fill a bucket? With the extra spray vs solidstream, A shower spray will help evaporate alot of the chlorine.
...Just an idea I was told about

I was thinking of just adding a 1/4tspoon of lemon juice ... read that somewhere ... would be quick and easy. IF the issue isn't PH then i just have a simple nute burn which it should overcome. I'll give it a few days then do a lemon juice PH down on my next watering. Should i just get a ph stick strip thing for the soil or water? Where at? Thanks!

Never liked the MG bloom products. I always switched over to Schultz Bloom Plus.

i use chicago water with no problems.. Rust spots indicate a calcium/ magnesium deficency.. You dont even need to leave the water out.. I dont.
