I woukd get 2 of these...

I almost pulled the trigger on the Mars Hydro SP3000 but this looks to have better coverage for a few more pesos.

My concern is how do you dim it?

Good choice, high quality with much better customer service and warranty.
The dimming adjustment on the HLG-320H-C1750A driver is a little set screw under the rubber plug on the lower right corner. First image, page 7.

If you really want external/remote dimming you could buy the boards and heat sink separately and buy a driver with external dimming, the
HLG-320H-C1750B. Meanwell drivers ending in A have internal dimming, B is external.

Thank you! Mouser is cheaper than TRC. I priced it all out and it came to about the same price but then found out HLG is sold out on that product. Hoping it isn't another supply chain issue. Bummed.

I can get the parts separately at other places but with shipping it always comes out $40-50 more plus the potentiometer. Too much trouble.

Probably go straight to the whole kit or go for the Mars Hydro SP3000. I already wasted hours just trying to get an external dimmer on this setup. I'm an idiot sometimes.

I don't think anyone on this thread has recommended spider farmer is there a reason for this? Think mars has been mentioned a few times is this due to sellers on here?

Update - HLG replied to my question. An external dimmer comes with the kit. I wasted a lot of time on that. Hope nobody else does.

Chong I just bought the Volcano in your avatar. I have 2 non working digitals and 1 working Classic along with my new hybrid.

I find the hybrid to be a jump from the digital as the digital was to the classic. It heats up so fast is I think my favorite change.

.

I needed a new light because my Black Dog has been producing less yield with each harvest, so I figured it was going dim. After much research and reaching out to forum members I decided on the Scorpion Diablo by HLG. It'd be great for your 5'x5'.

Ditto that. They gave me $100 for trading in my old classic. I couldn't find the air pump or gaskets to fix it myself.

BTW, don't try the concentrate on the steel pads. The pads disintegrate. I was inhaling burned steel wool for little bit.

Money no object, I’d get the new chilled ultra x6 600w, that mf has 8200 diodes, bet that thing lasts forever.

I think it would be tight but doable, how are you getting on with your light all good?
Dimensions: 1091mm x 1182.4mm x 51.9mm
Yeah I think you're right but it would be super tight. And it's going great dude, it's the best light I have ever owned. According to what I have read it's equivalent to 800watts of HPS light so it's perfect for what I need because I used to run a 600w HPS bulb and now with this LED I am only pulling 465watts off the mains and now I am getting bigger harvests than any 600w HPS bulb can pull :bigjoint:

Thats great news dude I'm very interested you sound like you had a very similar to me myself I usually (strain depending) get around 30+ ounce with my 600w hps. Do you have the controller system?

No I don't have the controller for the lumatek light but I've got an inkbird for humidity and an inkbird to control the temps, they are both wifi so I can control it through my phone, but in the future I am looking at getting a controller that controls everything, even the night time temps and the light and stuff :)
