it will be a learning experience for me also, and you guys can give me tips if you can think of an easier way. that would be crazy cool!
I only speak for myself. I dedicate myself to helping in anyway I can legally do so.

Any information you share will only further the cause. I hope we can manage to make your garden fruitful.

yeah i have cataracts too, but they are really the least of my worries lol you may want to have them removed, its a very simple procedure, only reason i havent is because the glaucoma has already gotten so bad that my eye doctors didnt really see a point. but i will keep this updated, even if it will help just one person thats good enough for me!feel free to post what you experience also.... we can help each other bro! ... eye problems dont stop us from doing anything man ... i learned at the dept of the blind that blind people can do anything a sighted person can do. main reason i use this plant is because the eye drops they give me to control my glaucoma burns like someones holding a torch to my eyes, for like an hour or long.... and i have to do it 3 times a day 2 different kinds of eye drops .... this lovely plant here doesnt hurt at all. the itching is gone.... the feeling of pressure behind my eyes is gone and the watering is gone and they feel some what normal .... all while not forcing me to suffer through an hour of pain per drop .... the eye doctor asked me do my eyes hurt .... my responce was "mainly when i use those drops of lava you gave me to put in them" lol ....
Years ago when I got diagnosed with the Ulcer I had a doctor hand me a full bottle of Proparacaine drops. Little did I know they would kill the nerves in my eye. Today you can throw sand in my eye and I wont feel it! But I will be damned if it doesn't itch and burn like a bitch.
The itching, burning, watering and gooey buildup drives me nuts! I am getting ready to set up another visit to the eye doc now that my glasses suck! I am going to talk to them about what we can do. The Ulcer is not removable and has scared my eye pretty bad right over the pupil. I believe a corneal transplant is an option.:?

Wow what a thread! Fascinating. Someone suggested asking a trusted friend for assistance, another feminized seeds, and both are good ideas. Are you're tactile senses in your fingertips enhanced? Could you differentiate female pistils from male sacs? I would think I maybe could with eyes closed and concentrating. Maybe not. Buena suerte, mate.

I really like this idea. There's plenty of eyes here to help!

Hey dude, I'm thinking that if you know your plants in your mind: as in, this is the one on the left of this row, second from the left, etc. you could then take pics of them. We could then give you a bunch of feedback and you could take it from their. I think feminized is a plan for the future. Clones could help too. In a large city near me, a guy runs a compassion club and he sells clones for $5. Something like that could prove invaluable.

Regardless of going seed or clone, i believe that an extra set of hands with a better set of eyes would really help you. I hope you find that person. I know that if you were my friend i would be the first guy in their helping you out.

I have one friend who's a nice guy but a real spazz and i still help him out. He is just really anxious and his head is spinning most of the time. Weed calms him down, helps him to bear the pain of nerve damage and lets him live a half-decent life.

I can't imagine how tough your life is. I had my vision permanently blurred 10 years ago by a medication. I see ok but i have trouble with direct sunlight and reading. At the time it happened i woke up in a cold-sweat from a dream where i"d gone blind. I can still recall the feeling of sheer terror i felt waking up from that. It was actually worse than the time i almost drowned as a kid. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble. Just wanted you to know there are people on this site who care, have some appreciation for the difficulties your facing and will try their best to help.

Best of luck.

just curious, but do you also have issues seeing the computer and screen in order to do posts on here?

i know myself, i just recently got glasses, and before, i had to jack my screen size up to like 150% to see anything, i can't imagine what it would be like being legally blind.. :(

Interesting thread, and great of you guys to offer assistance. :)

Maybe a USB powered microscope hooked up to a laptop or tablet for a close-up view. :dunno:

That is a great Idea. I have one and It does take a steady hand. I use my phone camera also. The zoom works real well but again if you have a steady hand.

The OP might have a hard time with either depending....

Hey New,

Congrats on working for a solution to your health issues. Definitely post details of your efforts and we'll try to help by either making suggestions as to how you can be more exact doing what your doing or alternate ways of doing it.

If you're in NYC, I could come by, too, and will help with things you might need assistance for, like trimming. Yes, even trimming!!!! LOL

The microscope cameras that attach to a laptop could give you that extra visual info regarding plant health and sexing you need.
