Hay ppl, im a nube as well but im a nerd when it comes to plants and growning things. Lights might b a prob depending on your area of growth, as my area is small for now. i am using cfl's, which are the weekest but moast energy efficiant, as so there is no spike in my elec. bill. But you can invest $ in a GREAT light system w/promps better yeld and growth, but you git more consumption of energy.not good for growing stelth at the parents casa.haha.next thing is nutes. herd using tap water which might have high consentration of dif. elements, could potentialy block out other nutes and is un-stable when it comes to ph. levels.1st suggestion go git pureified h2O, or if you have a pureifier even better. If your using soil, git new potting soil with a ratio of (12-6-6) or any ratio in the same ball park for veggitation.ex:12-6-6 or 30-15-15. just in vegg they need more nitrogen and less of phos. and (K). So the ratio is located on the bag of soil or nutrents. look and you will see numbers like this 12-6-6 or 6-12-12. and i explained the ratios and when to change.VEG=more (N) FLOWER= more (P)(K). it dont have to be exact just close. so go to homedepot or wallyworld and git some soilor plant food,if your plant is starving. ALSO make shure your plants pot has a place for water to drain out so as you can dispose excess water not needed. excess water prompts mildue and mold and those you dont want. and contrary to what ppl say, plants do not need to be watered every day. let the soil dry out though not completely but enough to promt root growth, so like about a 1/2 or whole nuckle til you feel moisture is dissipateing. hope i helped.:eyesmoke:bigjoint:

wish that was the case! but i am a noob when it comes to not having a full crop but i know my facts.also npk ratios and light spectrums arnt the ONLY thing you need to know, but if you have an understading of each you might b able to keep your first grow til you do some research of your own and possibly be able to taste that sweet sweet cheeba
