Growing from seed

So I've been growing for a around a year or so and decided I might want to grow from a seed I got in a free bag of Maui Wowie from a dispensary. I usually do clones so I don't really have an experience with seeds. How long does it take from the point I plant it to when I can flower it? I usually go straight to flower with my clones (I'm inpatient and I have a low tolerance so it works out :-P) so just wondering how much additional time I would be looking at. Any advice is appreciated thanks! :bigjoint:

I'd rather do seed than trust clones (if not mine) EVER again! Biggest bunch of infested crap I ever wasted money on...

That's why I don't buy clones... I wont even get em off my friends! Shit I don't even like buying tomato plants from places like home depot or even garden shops/nurseries! Who knows what they have been thru! If you are impatient you might want to consider autoflowering seeds. They usually produce a small yield but the flower right away no matter what your light schedule is.

I'm going to stick mainly to feminized seeds. I won't rule out clones altogether. You never know when something neat will pop up. I don't have the room to have any male plants to make my own seeds.

How long do autoflower strains take?

Vertigos take about 65 days from seed. Pandoras take a couple weeks longer. Both are excellent. Vertigo is stinky when flowering, Pandora has a surperb taste. Those are the only 2 autos I have grown. I have more started, Pandora, Vertigo, Auto Jack, and 60 Day Wonder. This time I'm keeping a log of sorts. I'll post photos in the autoflower thread soon.
