Last feeding was MaxSea Bloom (3-20-20) CalMag (2-0-0) and Molasses (0-0-3). I also apply (every 2 weeks) a secret Earthworm Casting Tea. The "secret recipe" is Fish, Kelp, Molasses. No more foliar feeding for me this year, but I was using Pre-Fruit by 3D Organics.

hey g boss you expanding yer fence? otherwise yer gonna need to take 6 out - not add 6 more! that's the trouble with increasing your skills, all of a sudden you find yourself crawling around on the ground a lot because theres nowhere left to walk!

LOL. Definitely some fence cha nges. I am doing 2ft raised boxes on top of my holes next year, that will allow for better crawlspace/walkways also. And will turn my 1.5 yard holds into 2.5 yards.

how come raised boxes instead of smart pots? so yer roots can go down into the ground more? I did one DIY smart pot for my GSC because after I dug my holes, I realized one of them wasn't where I wanted it (too shady). by then the ground was too hard to dig so I had to construct a fabric container. I do like the idea of a bottomless fabric container on top of a hole but I do wonder how deep is too deep. I read that you don't really need to go more than 18" because anything deeper doesn't have the breathability and roots tend to die off. I've had good results with deeper holes but wonder if better could be obtained with wider instead...

IDK man, I REALLY want to go wider but I am hesitant to abandon all the work I put in those fn holes. 24 holes @ 3.5ft cubed. I lost 20 pounds and fucked up my back LOL. I don't necessary believe that roots will die after 18". I have seen 10x10 backhoe dug holes put of a damn fig tree of a plant. I agree wider is better than deeper tho, no doubt about it. Mostly I want raised beds so I don't have to bend down to work on them :) We need to dig as much as these guys did

Dude seriously the holes are like crators! when the guy like steps in them he drops two feet haha.
now that would take some help to dig all those or rent a fucking backhoe haha.
and I like the raised bed idea that's sick cause you can just lay down the wire for the gophers and fll the bed with all new soil
then when they pass that they got your old holes to go into.

And they just look clean as fuck with a 12 foot fully budded bushes with huge colos praising the sun haha.

get a hole digger worth the investment then u can rent it or come up to peoples spots and put holes in for people, its a bitch to dig it by yourself I had a couple friends that owed me a favor come up and dig, but if I had a hole digger we would have been done the first day, tiller n a hole digger and your set!
