Growing in a corn field

How does growing in a cornfield sound the only thing that scares me is if the different stuff they spray on the field might kill my plants

Plant once the corn has reached about a foot. Usually that's when they stop spraying.
Make sure you know how many day corn it is. It could be cut down before you even get to harvest.

Are you talking about actually in the corn rows or in the irrigation ditches that go through the field? Ive talked to two people about growing in the ditches that go through the fields. Of course one was my cellmate in prison and the other was his friend....who also was in the same prison. But they were doing it about 45 minutes outside of chicago in a college town. Meaning there was already a police presence there for drugs. Now where I use to live in Illinois it was pretty rural and Ive never heard of anyone getting busted doing that and you'd have to assume that people are doing it. But its mainly small towns with populations under 20k. So they arent really doing fly overs. So if you were to live in an area with not to many people you should probably plant in the ditches in the middle of the fields. Much easier to attend to I'd assume and less chance of pestisides and whatever else.

I grew up in Ill. too and we would pull up the corn stalks and plant in the same row as corn. less detectable from air like that!
