Growing in a tree house

Im growing in my sons childhood treehouse while hes at college. It's around 25 ft high, it is attached to about 5 trees. The actual "house" part of it is shaped sort of like a rectangle with a triangle on one side because of where the steps are. Then there are walls on that that is about4 feet up all around a 5 feet on oneside with a small window. The door is like 2 foot by 3 foot up and this has NO ROOF and its simply just an old platform attached to a few trees.

What im wondering is if i cut all the branches down that are in the suns way,and plant up there will it grow.
When i start my plants in late april in the dirt from seed, not germinating and transplanting, will they become too big and bushy. Also if i use 3 by 3 inch pots are those big enough to use to plant seed in untill they become rootbound?

Fuck, I have been thinking about this idea for a few months now.

In my mind it should work just fine as long as it gets sun. Not sure about the pot thing though.

My tree house has all sides up and no roof. I even made a door for it. There is a small hold for my arm to fit inside next to the door, I plan to make it a lockable door so that no unwanted visitors may enter.

I grew Cannabis for three seasons on the westside of Maui. This was back in late 70's. All three crops were grown in "grow bags", and them put up high up in trees not to be seen by "rip offs". All three crops were very successful,but it takes a fair amount of labor on the growers part! It can be done my friend!

my first plant i grew outdoors...i let sit in a 2 gallon pot for 4 months then switched it to a 5 gallon pot...it got rootbound..but.. it never grew so bushy you could see it and it yielded about a oz... heres a pic of it.. it stayed small... its all on how you want your plant... you can basically train it.. i'd germinate first..so you dont get your hopes up.. i germinate my seeds in luke warm water... takes about 3 days...

Sounds like a cool setup. Hopefully your son deosnt come home and decide to play in the treehouse. I guess you could call it a -WEEDHOUSE-.

I would think it would work as long as it got sun up there. I would do it, It would be perfect.

Hope you don't have a lot of helicopter activity around your neighborhood. Sounds like it would be obvious from the air.

hardly any helicopters where i live, and no planes really ever fly over. Other than the occasional shinook that carries troops that sometimes flys over my work there isnt any helicopters in my area

You can use 24oz beer cups with drainage holes in the bottoms to start seedlings. Use pro Mix to start them and use duct tape to hold 4 cups together, so they wont fall over. I keep them in these til they are ready to go into 5gal growbags or buckets. I've used 45gal garbage pails and I do NOT feel that they grow as well as just putting them in the ground. The width of the container dictates how wide your plants get (called the drip line) Could your treehouse support a King size waterbed frame full of soil?? Use the liner to hold the water AND the heater(good for cooler spring and later fall to prevent soil nutrient lockup)The wider drip line will give larger yields. You better hook up a good water supply to your tree house. You'll need a lot of water. Ypu can buy camo mosquito netting to hide plants from the air, if needed

There are tons of small planes and a few helicopters every so often near my weedhouse. But I have never seen one fly directly over it.

Your Going to have to set up a few 50 cal. Anti-AirCraft guns around your area and get your hands on a Radar System....

give me a break people... | Dont worry about the choppers! 95% of the time there not looking for weed.

-Work out a floor plan so you can fit as much in there as possible. Maybe you can run a water line inside of it so your plants can be watered easily. So You dont want to be running back and forth w/ a hose or bottles of water if they need it.
