First time growing in coco.any tips?
awesome, its my 1st coco grow,in my previous grows i used ffof with ok results,so i have read that the most important thing is ph when growing in coco,...now were you using cloth pots or plastic?I used coco a lot , I did not like how the roots liked to go to the bottom only and not really grow "in" the medium. I did get a lot of good harvests out of it though.
wow nice,i initially mixed the coco with nutes,& checkd ph,twas about 5.8,but after a few days i saw the leaves curling in downwards,so i flushed with florakleen, they seem to b doin fine now.thanks jrinlvI ran three Dutch trays ( long rectangles) on 3 separate reservoirs, in a flood system. I was harvesting every 3 weeks under 1 light in a 4x4 tent. Coco was pretty stable ph wise for me. One good soak in ph'ed water set them straight before a plant even hit the mat.
i'm hand feeding,i was looking into flood tables, but i was on a budget lol,& to b quite honest seem kinda require a lot of attention, more so than coco. What type of system you running?
definitely, how long have you been growing? if you dont mind me askingNope. A good system runs it's self. I might take some time to get it there but that is experience. Most of the rooms I have run turn into a very systematic thing. Every week the same steps. You know something is wrong when that system gets out of wack.
thats awesome,i'm currently vegging under a 400w metal haylide,& i usually flower under 600w hpsThe pic in my avatar is only one 400 w on a light mover in a 3 x 8 ft closet.
Ok thanks, have you ran coco before? & what were end results?Use nutrients that are made for coco. Run your ph at 6 to 6.5. Coco does great potted in flood drain tables. Other than that its like any other soilless medium.
