Growing in extreme heat

Hey guys I'm from Northern California and I am planning on doing a guerilla grow. Where I am at it's not uncommon for it to stay 100+ degrees for 2 or more weeks. Before getting down and starting it I had a few questions.
Being that I live in such a hot area what can I do to help stretch out the water I am giving the plants?
How often should I water in extreme heat?
How many gal. Of water should each plant get?

Don't keep them in pot's number one.
Straight in the ground so its nice & cool for the roots.
As for water, if your willing to risk running the water line the go right ahead, theres some things out there in the internet.
Say you got a river a water source nearby. I've heard of using car batterys to pump it and its on a timer aswell.
Crazy shit. Lol. Just do some searching! :D

Yeah..in ground, and break up and amend the soil with some compost/planting mix if you can. A thick layer of mulch will greatly reduce the amount of evaporation too. I know those are all things that are hard to do and its impractical to get stuff out to a site but those are the main things.

It's a 100 or better for a couple of months at a time here. I just water twice a day when needed. Like said, mulch or a top layer of straw helps.

here's what you should do ontop of what everyone else said; bury a 2-3" pipe with some perferations on the bottom end and water through that so your plant will get deep water and start searching downward on its own accord. That will do several things 1 it'll put the water down where its cooler and less likely to evap 2it'll make your plant stronger and better able to resist high wind 3 it'll reduce the amount of water you'll need to carry to your plants.

I've seen those poles at HD for the past few years. Good idea for high heat or desert growing. +rep

Potassium silicate is supposed to help plants resist water and heat stress....I used it last year on my first grow from the beginning so I don't have anything to compare to truthfully tell you it works....but it might which means its worth looking into

Iv had large super skunks planted in ground handle 115+ in Australia with 30 knot winds and not even wilt, they will be fine as long as they have lots of water

man i know how you feel, wee often stay over a hundred for a couple months, they do pretty good till you get over 110 but even then the plant will adapt and be allright, i always just go no pots and put a tarp around the base to reflect light and prevent evap...its all about the tarp man,it also protects against snow and unwanted rain....course we did break a record recently with 12 months without a measurable amount of rain
