If your in Michigan,Ohio or Indiana you've still got a few weeks before its safe outside, when your plants finish flowering will depend on what strain your growing, try & pick early finishing plants.

in western newyork we put them out between the 4th week of may to the first week of june. this gives them 8-9 weeks of solid vegging time and then they usually finish flowering late september (growing a typical 8 week flowering strain).

the best is to get a 6-7 week early flowering strain. this way you can have them out by mid september (15th-20th) and not be stressed out for the rest of the month.

yea last frost occurs around first week even 2nd week of May usually for northern parts of Ohio. Assumming ur from Toledo area pry 1st week of May would be last frost. KNowing ohio weather i would still wait a little while if u were in a hurry to get em outside. Im gonna start vegging indoors in about a week then around beginning of June set them outside. For harvesting, pry wont be until beginning or mid October, but then again like the others said, it depends on strain, sativas will take longer, like 9-10 weeks (unfortunately thats the only strain i have this outdoor) good luck with the grow man!

:peace:I put about 35 seeds in the ground in Central michigan area, maybe a little closer to one of the lakes. I did not germenate any of my seeds, I just made a nice bed of potting soil and foung a pretty wet marsh area. Now are my plants doomed from the start because of the cold weather that we have had latley, or will they be okay? And is there anything I can do to help them make it through the last of these cold nights before summer? Also how should I be watering them?:blsmoke:

put them in the ground after on thursday night, after we get all the rain! thats my guess atleast. after the soil has had a chance to get some nice warm sun and dry out. in michigan we are getting rain for the next 5 days and a few thunderstorms.... so i havent watered my plants today.

as long as it dosent get down below freezing you should be ok, i grew over the winter and i harvested about.... 75 grams off one plant?, and i grew it under a hps outside in a shed, it dropped below 40 a few nights and they lived and the harvest was sweet! as far as watering them, put your finger in the soil about an inch in, when the soil is dry add some more water.

thanks man, good to hear that I still have a pretty good chance of sucess. Hopefully my yeild this year is that good, i may not have to worry about watering too much, there is a lot of natural streams and stuff where I am at, its very wet. I'll put some pics up and keep ya'll updated!:joint:
