Growing in rented accomodation

Apart from landlords and powers that be and all, I've decided to give it a go in my bedroom.

Already have germinated some seeds I got in a baggy a few weeks ago.

The room can be 30 degrees even at this time of the year, and cooler at night, problem is the lighting, it gets direct sunlight from about 10-2 on a sunny day, directly through windows, I have a decent sized window sill that I want to put it on, I can also have a fan on it and it will get fresh air easily I can't have a completely ideal set up but I want to optimise and get the most from this, since it's accomodation that I pay a fixed amount on electricity for, which means having a light on 12 hours a day isn't a problem..... I want to try this and see if it works and get some smokable bud, if I could have one type of bulb that would suit, what would someone go for from start to finish, I understand this is not ideal but the limitations are there.

I realise that it may not work, I was just wondering is there anyone that can point me to any well know success stories where results were good under severe limitations?

Not the best idea or you and your crop may be homeless if they come in for some unannounced inspection or repair.... Plus if you burn down their place I'm sure their insurance will not cover it and you may find yourself in some sort of expensive civil suit!

Any inspection is notified by mail well in advance and that includes contract work. They basically spam everywhere with the notifications. I'm in the UK and I know there is a law that states landlords can only enter the premises unannounced in an emergency.

For the most part, I plant sittin on a windowsill for the early stages will go unnoticed, naturally, I would have the mini fan and bulb well out of sight....they are also not allowed to search through cupboards and drawers anyway, if they found it, I'd be busted but they'd lose their job. Pretty easy to get around that.

im the superintendant at my building, we cannot enter a unit for any reason unless you tell us we have permission to enter and do a repair or we give you written notice 24hrs in advanced. ive been running a 1000w in a 4x4 tent even a year before i became super, i did auto plants and ran 20/4, my highest hydro was 220 for 2 months. put a lock on your bedroom door and close all doors when they enter. almost all units i enter have all doors closed so it isnt suspicious. the only thing that ever really goes wrong is hot water tanks and dripping taps. get a filter and you will be fine. my card comes in this week so i will be getting another 1000w SORRY EDIT we can enter if ther is an emergency, only emergencies have ever been including leaks and even those are in the bathroom

It's university halls.

They can only enter with a certain amount of notice, there are 2 inspections per year and they have done most room contract work by now, mostly it is just a guy that walks in, looks around, then leaves, because most of the rooms are fine.

I can hide one plant easily. It's more the grow conditions that worry me.

even a couple of plants will stink out your house once they get to 4-5 weeks of flower
try to keep the heat down as much as possible, block out the light from entering the room will help keep it cooler
you will want to put controlling the smell as the top priority in rented accommodation
putting the plants in a growtent helps with this so much, as you can control what air comes in and out of the tent
you can make the tent or buy it
a carbon filter will be needed , or ozone, to be on the safe side ..

ghetto style
the ambi pure essential oil plugins are ok if you use lots of them you can plug a few into an extention cord and place a fan behind it, works quite well

if you can smell your neighbors when they are cooking food etc, you can be sure they will be able to smell your weed in their house too lol

peace
