Growing in the attic.

So highly considering starting a grow in the attic. For some reason would thermal imaging notice a small grow with around 3 plants that would only get 3 months old? And would I need to get something to cover the smell?

hahaha.. thats hilarious.. you wont have enough plants to notice the smell, let alone generate enough heat... to attract the heat..

Thank you for the input. So you really dont think there would be a point to bother with a DIY carbon filter. The attic has some slatted vents to the outside also.

well it depends for smell, cause i have only 3 plants and they were smelling a lot before i put a filter. like the whole appt had this weed odor and im supposed to have a very low smell plant...so it depends how stealthy you want this, but i think you should use a grow tent in your attic and put a filter or some gel somewhere to buffer the smell.

Lol, there is no way in hell that they will pick you up with thermal imaging not with the 4 cfls. As for the smell it should be fine, though some plants can stink up the place quite a bit if your ventilation isn’t up to scratch, as long as you are the only person in the house or anyone staying there is fine with you growing it shouldn’t be a problem.
Anyways I’m sure the DEA has better things to worry about than a guy with three plants in his attic.

How much do you think the cost increase would be on something like that maybe also have a small exhaust fan of some sort also.
