Growing indoors summer time...

Ok I'm a newbie but have been reading up on growing for months now and am just finishing a big bang auto grow 4 plants in 20 ltr airpots with a 1.5m x 1.5m x 2m tent under two 600 w cool tubes with dutchpro auto nutes. I had a few probs with cal mag and they took alot longer than i thought 13 weeks but they're looking good about 3-4 oz a plant. Anyway I was thinking of buying all new equipment and starting a grow with normal big bang as autos take longer than i thought. But with 8-10 plants in a bigger tent 3 x 1.5 x 2 with two 1000 w lights with cooled hood. I live in the UK and summer is approaching and I'm not sure if it's a good idea to try and grow in the hot conditions.. Does anybody out there have success growing indoors at summer time? I was thinking of usinga good silent 8" fan to suck air out and the same type 6" to suck air in do you think this and the cooled lights and a big oscilating fan would be ok on those 30 degree days? Oh and was going to use subcools super soil for the 1st time too. Anyway main thing is do you think its worth trying to grow in summer. Do you have any success or secrets.. Any input would be much appreciated.

Oh and I'm kind of looking for similar results hopefully 10 plants 3-4 oz a plant. Will only be feeding ph'd water with super soil.

passive intake would be fine, no need for the second fan which would produce more heat. air conditioning is awesome, and should be utilized if possible. that said, 85f temps are not uncommon, nor detrimental, so long as humidity is under control.

i'd go for it. you have the tools, and it seems you have the information. just do it. good luck friend!

use a fan to blow air out. this will create a vacuum, which can be filtered, creating a passive intake. active exhause, passive intake. no need to blow air in and out. one or the other will generally suit all needs, but if i were to choose, i'd prefer an exhaust and let the air come in naturally.

Cool I get you now thanks for the advice.. So do you think one 8" fan would be enough for that size tent? Would it be right in saying the bigger the better?

Also I'm a bit worried about smell with more plants I was going to have the 8" ducting running thru the plasterboard wall into an 8" rhino pro carbon filter will that take care of 10 big babies?

8'' should be plenty for 2kw. i used a 4'' fan and an oscillating fan in a 6x12 3kw room in 100f temps with no problems. i did have a small ac for the total area, 12x28.

Your ambient temperatures will play a big role in cooling your grow. Can't cool it any lower than the temperature of the intake air (unless your running AC and sealed CO2 room with dehumidification, and then it's not really intake air anymore).
