Growing Light Questions

hi, im planning to grow around like 4 plants. The seeds are germinating right now and will probably be done by tomorrow. Right now its summer and it will turn fall in like 1 month. So it is a bad time to plant my plants?

Im planning to buy a light but i dont want to waste electricity and i dont have other equipment so this is what im thinking.
In the day i will put my plants outside and when it gets dark i will bring the plants inside under the light for like 4 to 5 hours. and then bring them outside again. My question is that would it effect the plants?

for 4 plants you could get a 150-250w hps and you wouldn't even hardly notice a change in your bill.

hi, my seeds started to sprout now. I just put the seeds into a cup with miracle seed dirt.
When i start to see it grows. How many hours of light should i put it?
i have been reading and i think its around 18-24
so what is better? 24 or 18?

your plants need time to chill so 18 is the ideal time

hello, like im using the miracle seed soil right now. When should i start using fertilizers and other stuff?

wait three weeks before you add any fertilizer. then add at 1/4 strength.
