Growing outdoors? Feeding and soil?

Hey,

So I got a nice setup indoors but cant find much info on outdoor gorwing other than guerilla growing. I would like to grow a few plants in my backyard. Maybe on deck in pots or in soil. Was wondering if there is a soil mix (i guess organic) that can be made so all the plants will need is water. Or can the same nute schedule used indoors also be used outdoors?

Thanks

its pretty much the same as indoor with regards to soil nutes and that only differences is its outside and if your growing in pots then you need to get big ass pots

I grew outside for years and Nitro is right. It's pretty much the same except no light control and PESTS. You will get some big plants so be sure to get some big pots, 8 to 15 gallons.

And you don't have to water as much bc of rain I'm assuming. As far as pruning goes bc they will have more veg time then what I usually give I guess topping is important too or will u get the same yield from the Christmas tree form of natural growth?

kellogs patio plus its cheap has some goodies in there already i usually add perlite, epsoma citrus tone with bio tone, worm casting, blood meal, composted chicken manure and water with a composte tea or at least water it with molassas let sit for 30 days ready to plant.or mix soil and fertilize plant with composte tea or with alaska fish fert for the first month or so.all can be found at home depot lowes wal-mart so should be easy to find and very inexpensive oh and like everyone before me said big pots.good luck

as far as pruning goes i would just remove damaged or yellowed leaves and maybe a little thinning for air circulation to help prevent mold.i top all my plants for cloning i dont know if it increases the actual yield but will give you multiple medium size colas verses 1 large one.

If I use 30 gallon pots how do I check if they need drink? 30 gallons wet it 240 pounds cant lift that pot to check it lol. How many gallons of nutes will they take? My 2 gallon pots take about 32 oz every 2 days would that mean they'll be drinking about 7 gallons every couple days?
