Growing Outdoors in Houston, Texas

:joint:Okay, So the temperature reaches around the 80's this time of the year. I was wondering do i give my plant straight sunlight for 12 hours then 12 hours of darkness?
I'm obviously a beginner and now the smartest of the pack (please don't critisize me) everyone has to start somewhere?

Im starting off with some Schwag seeds, (BagWeed) as some may call it. Just incase something does go wrong and i don't waste a bunch of money buying Nirvana Seeds.
I do plan on buying Dro seeds when the time is right, indoors for a matter of fact.

Anyway, I guess my overall questions are:

1. When growing outdoors should i put together a schedule?
6am-6pm Sunlight
6pm-6am Darkness

2. Is there any methods to keeping the plant safe during the day (I'll bring it inside during the night) I was thinking, Plastic Wrap Over the top of the pot? Keeping Humidation inside. Of course having holes for air circulation also.

3. I'm using Organic Choice MG soil, I know it's not the best and it's full of nutes. But I've actually heard if you can take care of the plant well enough, Organic Choice actually pulls through. Can i add perlite to it to make it grow better?

man, i dont know much about outdoor growing, but everything i amlearning , they all say use' trial and error' espicall if your only using bag seed, try a couple see how they react, your in the south (hell yeah!) ur be able to grow till octoberish.

IMO, the best advice you will learn is from yourself testing different variables.

DONT USE MG SOIL! i was using it with no results. I spent 7.99 on happy frog soil( from hydorponics store, which your in houston i bet you have one or two) Happy frog isorganic as well. YOU WILL LOVE IT! IMO

im not sure if you got it, but DO NOT put your outdoor plants on a schedual! 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in bottom for drainage, fill with soil, than set on bricks to keep off ground.... every day inspect your plant from top to bottom, underside and all! every day after inspection give plant a quarter to half turn so the whole plant will get that great h-town sun.
One of the greatest climates to grow in my opinion and the tap water has pesticides in it already!! mix with half filtered to one third filtered water depending on what part of town. If its that brick seed than you might as well top by waiting for the little branches get up to about 6-8 depending on your confidence..(cut the two baby leaves at the base, that are coming out the top of your plants.)
this should get you where you need to go. post pictures, do what you have to.. I wanna see start to finish and trust me you will know what the business is by the end of this. imma subscribe

yeah bro what he just said. you put it in a pot and let it grow. u do not force flower outdoors.. dont over garden......if u run into problems with that soil transfer to top soil and compost/manure mix....go ahead and throw in a lil perlite for drainage.....have fun though...check my fun out in journal entries.....oh how i love to grow things
