I dont feel like reading this entire thread...and Im sure this has been said a;ready, but GET YOURSELF SOME CFL's! Cheap as hell and while, no, they arent HID lights, they are still waaaay better for your babies than any desk lamp

Thats $20 for a 6-pack of them, which would be plenty to veg 1 plant

that desk lamp....next time try ten of them... that is if you want anything to smoke. you don't want the nodes (leafs) to be 8 inches apart. this happens when the plant is not receiving enough light.

Wow, so many dicks on this thread, who just jump on in to criticize without even reading the whole thing through. Sandstoner, I think for what you used to grow that plant with,you did an unbelievable job. It sucks that their so many people to jump down your throat about it. Yeah, all you gotta do is cut the light down to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of complete darkness. It should show signs of sex in a couple weeks. If you see two white hairs you got yourself a female, if you see little sacks growing you got yourself a male... It always sucks when ya gotta pull a male but I'd at least wait it out, even with the worst lighting you might still get an eigth or something if ya got a girl... And trust me, when you smoke the first herb that you grew, It might not be the best stuff, but its sure one hell of a feeling of accomplishment! Go for it. Good luck

Is it just me? Or is anyone else who's even mildly interested in reading this pathetic attempt at a grow thread just so upset about the coddling of this person? Yes, whoohoo you grew a pathetic, sad plant using a bag seed and a desk lamp YAY!! for you! Do you really come onto a site, dedicated to people who've been growing and breeding for years to "brag" about how easy it is, and expect kudos for what you have?!! Then, to top it off a bunch of people compliment you on your grow? WTF!? I mean sure you can grow a plant, anyone who throws seeds out the window of their car while driving can grow too. You attempt to belittle what this site is about. If you want info about how to grow properly read on. Please, please don't come here and say "anyone can grow it". We all know that's true. Some just take it a tad more seriously than 1 person who's raising a truly inferior plant witha desk lamp in a room because her Mom and Step-dad think it's "neat". :wall:

P.S.- If you like the fact that you've gotten a "rise" out of me, more power to you as it seems that's more about what this thread was intended for than any actual information about improving your grow.
