Growing Sideways!?

Hey guys,

I've got about a foot in height but about 15 foot in width space I can stick some tomatoes in!

Now the Q is can I grow them sideways (stress training, banboo sticks etc?)

You can just let it get maybe 5 or 6 inches off the ground and LST to it sideways maybe while wrapping it around some bamboo like you said. Naturally its going to want to keep growing upwards so you're going to have to keep LSTing it.

1 foot in height may not be enough. you figure in a pot on the floor and a light above just between these two items your
actual grow space is limited to 2 - 4 inches. Surely there is no room for a 12/12 flower growth stretch.

Lol youre right I completely forgot the actual pot. Thats barely any space.

unless u ditch the planter/pot all together and dig a hole in the ground and fill it with FFOF and plant away. it sounds like a crawl space under a house so digging a hole is an option.
