growing strong (first grow)

took some pictures today thought i should post my girls there are pictures from before and today

i am coming to flowering period real soon and i need some pointers
runnin at 16/8 light at the moment
when switching the lights should i do it just straight up 12/12 or take it easy on them and do an hour every couple days till i get 12/12

when already into flowering do plants preffer more water less water or just keep watering the same way all the way

Well i don't know but you might need some more light. It's going to be hard managing that monster and the rest of the plants with such different canopy levels. That thing is a beast. If i were you I'd start taking clones and find out if it's a female and than getting a seperate space for flowering. That would be more ideal, good luck though. looks sativa dominant and might take a while to flower...you could flower clones as soon as they root and they wuld probably still get pretty big they will double or triple in size when you flower.

no room for the big plant i know
i dont have a separe space to flower the monster and my time on this grow is limited till may 20th so that means i gotta start flowering in like a week
believe me if i hade more time i would have taken clones

i forgot to say the big one is already showing sex signs and its a female

just go 12/12. You don't ease into it. Just do it.

The will grow 2-3x the size they are now though when you do switch.

its usually a personal pref to each grower. Some like to walk the time down to 12 12 to simulate the change of seasons. They say its less stress
Some like to do a 24 to 36 hour period of uninterupted dark when switching. They say it reduces sexing and over all flower time by approx a wk.
But the majority of people just go straight to 12 12.
As for watering. If u try to water by a set schedule. IMO your asking for watering problems. I always and I feel most growers will agree you go by your soil if its dry a couple inches down then its time to water. Just watch your girls, they'll let you know what and when they need it.
