Growing tobacco vs Buy cigarettes

Interested in buy myself tobacco indoors, but have no clue how much that would cost, would it be worth it, how much dried tobacco you can get from dried plant? Would outdoor grow be suited for price?

I have not looked into it much, but I hear its really difficult to do tobacco.

do it,its legal and fun. we grow several crops of organic cigarette tobacco here in n.h. we sell it at below wholesale at 10.00 a pound cured whole leaf and we have more customers waiting for next summers crop then we can handle.
you dont have to pay tobacco tax of whole leaf tobacco.let the customer shred it,that will save them a boat load of money and you would also make a boat load of money.
its the perfect fix for the hard economy.

I have also thought of this....it seems to be easy to grow but still more work than buying a pack.

You'd be better off growing the MJ and selling a plants yield and buying a years supply of cigs. Something I've always wondered though: growing coca vs buying cocaine?

I wonder how many grams or what fraction of a gram you could get per plant, as well as the difficulty of indoor cultivation.

i would check erowid...i seem to remember reading something on there about that info...i know it can be grown indoors but the plant to Mg ratio is low

I think its worth it You get organic home grown product! I was thinking about growing some but like others said its kinda tricky.
