Hey there RIU. @ViparSpectra has recently provided me with 2 of their new XS1500 lights to put in my 2x4 tent and this is where I will be showing them. I have cleaned out my 2x4, removed the ViparSpectra P2000 that was in there and installed the 2 new lights. They have been daisy chained together allowing me to control the brightness of both using the dimming knob of one. Here are some pics of what I received.

Congrats my friend and look forward to the journal and your upcoming grow with them, that's a very useful feature being able to daisy chain both yet one knob control both.
Thanks. I do like the daisy chain feature, makes thigs very convienent.

I have 1 of those lights in half the space.
Nice. Is it one of these new Pro models with the added lenses for light distribution?

:) Great start! What is the height of the light?
I will take a measurement when I get home. I just put them as high as I could and dialed them in using the dimmer and my meter. I find it's easier to do that way rather then moving the lights up and down. RH in the tent was only at 26 % so I tossed in a humidifier to bring it up to 60%. Also added a heater as the temps were dropping too low so it's now steady between 25c and 26c. I will move these to larger pots this weekend.

I will say that I like the older dimming knob you all used on my P2000 better than the new ones on this model. The P2000 you can dim to any setting so it makes it easy to dial in with your quantum meter. This new one has only 5 preset positions.
