I have grown tomatos upside down and i know you have seen the off the shelf upsidedown tomatoes could you do this with mj? and my outdoor growing buddy was telling me you could put them in buckets get them about 3 foot tall and tip them over and they will just keep growing straight out is this possible? this would be good for growing outdoors wouldn't be as easy to pick out from a heli or just when your walking through

Yes you can, as long as you have enough room to hang them, they will most likely hit the floor wherever you put them. I had a round glass pot sort of thing hanging from the ceiling in my garage, my buddy grew it, and got just as much if not more than normal. They sell them at our local home depot. I'd say its about 4 or 5 gallon glass pot.

After searching i found a thread just like this one and growing upside down does happen and looks like sometimes it's better and a good argument on gravity and things alike and the sideways grow could this work 2? im about to start my outdoor season and i know a perfect place but after they get so tall there noticable so if i could lay them down this would be good for me

What you mean by sideways bro ? What's the concept ? I was just wondering how you would go about that ? But you shouldnt worry about them getting to tall, even outside you can still tie them down, shape them however you want em.

Never grew upside down but I have grown plenty of sideways plants (both indoors and out). Gentle bending can get a plant to grow just about anyway. I know a guy who trained his plant (Bonzaied) to grow in a circle around a cylinder so a 4 ft plant was actually only taking up the space of about a 2 ft plant. Pretty cool and the weed was good. I think it took it's toll on the yield but he grew the hole thing in a little grow box he made out of a rolling tool chest and some flourscents.. For the whole thing being done start to finish under flourscents, I was pretty impressed with the end result..
