growing veg in flower/veg room

hi all

I have all away try to keep my plant count down, so have wasted some light in the flower room(for growing weed under 600hps). but was thinking about add some veg that does not need direct light like peas as i could grow them round the edge of the flower room and could i reuse the soil (crop rotation) or does other veg work better for this, tried looking this up on line but have not any luck.

could this work or is it a bad ideal

And pea or bean should be fine but remember those babys get tall.

i bought some spearmint seeds today. nothing like some good mint tea on a cold day.
