I got pranked bad last night. By my 1 year old...
Right before bed I was trying to get the baby to sleep. She was gently stroking my face and I was telling her how sweet she was. "Oh that's so nice." Then I realized WHAT she was stroking my face with. It wasn't her finger, it was a crayola marker! I had ink ALL over my face and chest. She thought she was so damn funny. My mom about choked on her dentures laughing.

Been busy getting the final caging on most of my plants. Making tea. Spraying for pests. The usual. How is everyone?

Alien OG pic taken last night as the sun was going down. Her branches are so tough, she just about doesn't need any support. If this plant were a person it would be a competitive weight lifter. It's not easy to spread her out because she fights back.

I'm finding the same with my Alien OG. This is my first outdoor, and watching the plants get big, its amazing to me how different the strains are in their shapes and characteristics. I have the Alien OG at one side of the structure (first pic), a Chemdawg 91 on the other side (second pic), the third is the tops of them (and you can sort of make out two mystery plants in 10gal pots in the middle).
This being my first outdoor, I find I'm making some of the same mistakes I made with my first indoor. Those are 100 gallon pots, and the structure is 5' x 10'. Next time, I won't stick two more plants in the middle, I was totally underestimating how big they'd get. I overcrowded my first indoor too.
But its all good, sort of forming a continuous canopy.

Those plants make the 100g pots look small underneath! Nice work. It's always fun to see how fast they grow outdoors. My 2 biggest plants just happen to be side be side this season. You never know which ones will really take off until you get them in the ground.

The tea I have brewing is a little different than what I normally make. Weeks ago I mixed 1/2 cup kelp meal, 1/2 cup alfalfa meal, a few tbs of molasses and about 2 cups of water to let the dry ingredients rehydrate. I kind of shoved it aside and forgot about it for a while. When I opened the jar it smelled like old steamed broccoli lol. Really bad.
I added it to a trash can of water and a half cup of molasses to bubble and almost right away the bad smell went away. To make it stink again I added 5 tbs of fish ferts hahahaha. Any good tea should stink I guess.

I just got done spraying some MyCotrol-O mixed with azamax. First time Ive used this combo. 1 tbs of each per gallon. MyCotrol is a bacteria and Azamax is an oil so they should work together ok without overdosing on oils. I know spinosad bacteria reproduce faster when mixed with azamax. Im just assuming the MyCotrol will work the same. Fingers crossed.
