I've always used PH'd tap water. Never had a problem at all. People swear by R/O water but .. I never saw the need to change what I was doing.

^ same here.
I used to only use r.o until gettin 3 five gal jugs everyday was a pain. And i was in a pos condo so puttin in a ro system wouldnt be smart. So i switched to tap and let it sit out. Then got tired of letting jugs sit out i just tried with straight from tap and i never seen a diff. Just keep calmag around.

My first grow was a single plant out doors.
It was prob the perfect plant. I just planted clone in ground gave it straight hose water. And thing got 5 feet tall and never had any yellowing or burn. But i did give it sum blood meal or bone meal once.
Anywho. It should work just fine. Amd u wont see a diff in growth if u change.
I was using soil til this grow i switched to coco. Liking it alot better. Didnt like.the favt that i would water every 4 days with soil and not knowing if they are takin up any nutes.

Ditto. Most people think they are special because they use RO water, but tap water is fine. I always get perfect results.

I use the water right out of the tap. Mix it with the fertilizer and pour into the pots. Haven't found a single reason to add more complexity. Good luck.

I grow hydro, flood and drain and I use tap water also. I think people use r/o because others say its best..the only advantage I see is you can control the ppm.....these are tap water plantsIMAG0347.jpgIMAG0353.jpg

I use tap water but it comes from some kind of spicket that's hooked up to some filter. Not sure what kind of filter. Never had any problems with it though

I use RO water because the kush strains I like are calmag sensitive, I never know how much to add with tap water. Very high ppm's out da tap around here too. But i know others in the neighbourhood who use tap and seem to do just fine plants and have less deficiency issues than I do...hmmm.

nice tread but in my opinion just my opinion mj is a weed technically and grows in any condition so im saying the more u spoil ur gurls the more they MIGHT appreciate u later by trying to create the best possible environment for ur mj u promote the best possible growth for the plant and i try an use stored rain water if not i just sit my filled jugs in the sun for a couple days the heat brakes down alot of the chemicals in tap and the cold kills unwanted germs i think the only draw back from using tap would be making ur medium ph to hi or to low and prevent ur plant from transporting nutes at its best therefor lower quality or lower yeild compared to what MIGHT have been if better conditions were kept but all of this is still a if who knows? what ur personal tap ph is it MIGHT be perfect 5.5 or it could be 8 its al what might or might not happen but again nice thread hope to see more on the topic if i could ditch the ph testers and the ups and downs im all for it :?:but so ppl can see im legit u can follow my indoor grow reg indoor and sog https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/527457-advice-frm-any-level-s-2.html#post7471494
