Growing

I don't know much about growing yet, because I'm going for my second grow,and trying to correct the mistakes I made then. My first grow was GaneshasDream, a hybrid with 15%-20% THC level. Did'nt come out that way. I was pissed at myself because I Did'nt get the males out in time(you got it pollen all over the grow room). I figured that maybe it did'nt do much damage.The girls at harvest time did'nt produce trichomes like they should have and THC was low. Some buzz, but unhappy with the outcome. Could not getting the males out in time caused that?

Yes, I believe this could cause your girls to spend their energy making seeds, and possibly mess with the potency, though smaller, seedy buds have been known to be plenty powerful.
If this happened, you'd have seeds, I'd think and lots of them, not that this would have to be a bad thing by any miens.

Back in the day, all the weed was seedy, and lots of it was really great smoke (for the times)

it put its energy into seed production rather than resins but as mr fishy said you can get some good seedy buds too i think its all strain dependant.. these days we breed plants to be grown sensi not really for seed production so maybe somthing has been lost over the years.

Thank you tusseltussel, you guys are great. I got White Widow Going right now. This old shit is going to grow som e good shit. I grew up in the 50's & 60's, and I'm tired of buying. It'll give me sometjing to do(being retired).
