ok so my buddy told me that one of his friends dad grows weed, he waits until around the 4th set of leaves and then digs a hole, fills it with his own soil mixture (i can only remember bone marrow) then buries the plant.

the results are huge 8 foot tall monsters.

so i have an aquarium where i planted around 15 seeds (impatience is a killer) now they keep sprouting and i cant keep them from my lack of space. but i digress.

so i dug a little hole stuck a (stretched too much) plant in there up against the side (the glass)

1. buried plant
2. buried plant.
3. low stress trained plant
4. low stress trained plant

you need more soil in those pots. if you want wait a week then go to walmart and get superthrive and give it a quarter dose but growing season is almost over so that would be an idea for next year. anyone can grow 8 ft monsters outside its just good nutes and to plant it early enough to have time to veggie. plants outside are flowering now so season is just about over

the time will come, but for now, its unnecessary they are only seedlings, it will be about a month before it will matter...then the transplant - three weeks - flowering time

WOW. never heard of buring plants underground.... how exactly does the plant attain light for photosynthesis? what kind of soil are you using? using nutes?

i think it has to do with its goes into a dark period...so the only thing i can think of is it thinks it's night time so it grows then. it could also be the his "special mixture".

and they are just 3000k cfl'S no nutes yet. they are only about half a week old i would say..i got the seeds, and the growing plants to experiment...

speaking of which ----- ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE ME TO TRY SOMETHING WITH PLANTS, CUZ ABOUT 12 MORE ARE GUNNA SPROUT SOON, SO GIVE ME YOU EXPERIMENTS, I WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS

i think its pretty cool that you are willing to just experiment with your plants, you should definitely do some outdoors experiments come spring. im sure i will be able to think of some!

i would love to grow out doors...unfortunately my backyard is a parking lot that is shared with 3 houses

Well, you aren't going to grow any 8 ft tall plants in an aquarium, that's for sure.

I'm pretty sure your friend's friend's dad/brother/dog or whatever is hosing you.

Plants need sunlight to grow, which makes growing a plant "underground" or under the dirt pretty unlikely. Although if it manages to break through the soil before it dies, it could still grow.

I'm pretty sure your friend's friend's dad/brother/dog's plants are "monsters" because they are outdoor plants, put in the ground early so they have plenty of time to veg before the days get shorter.

i know it wont grow that much, thats why you transplant it. and also, it is up against the side so its getting some light....its all just an experiment...and ANYONE WHO HAS AN EXPERIMENT FOR ME TO TRY....I GOT 5 MORE PLANTS THAT I CAN FUCK WITH

This thread is weird, are you referring to him burying it as deep as the fourth set of leaves or what? Because you totally don't have to do that to get 8 footers.

Doesn't make much sense to me. I mean, you can grow big plants without subjecting them to ridiculous measures (that aren't helping, and are probably hindering)... It's like thawing out and refreezing ice cream before you eat it to see if it'll taste better. It was frozen already and would have tasted fine, why fuck around with it? If you want to do experiments, go take a science class. What you're doing here is just absurd.

all this was was an experiment thread...and yes the seedling got a little stretched....im just looking for different things to do with cannabis...besides LST, topping, burying stretched plants, and anything else anybody can think of

Take a big dump on it, douse it with tequila, and jump up and down on it.

Fertilizer and superdupercropping all rolled into a neat, little ball.

Your plants should take off after that!

douse it with tequilla? yeah right, thats just killing it. shitting on it...i wouldnt do that, im not gunna handle my own shit....and it has been underground for 3 days, and it has not died yet, infact, it broke through the dirt last night, so i covered it again....!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh and whats supercropping?

You're full of shit. The plant will die due to lack of oxygen.

3 things are required for plant growth. Hydration, Light, and CO2.

Same thing with fire. You need and ignition source, oxygen, and fuel.
