Hey there

These have been out approaching 2months now, thier about 5ft tall atm. Organic grow no ferts. If im right because its been 2months they should be set to flower soonish right? and if im correct this takes 8weeks, so theoretically thier halfway through the whole process? plenty of sun these days (sun from about 8am-9pm). Should i expect them to get much taller? Ive topped em a bit aswell, should i continue to do so or is that overkill? and i know stupid question but ill ask it anyway howmuch should i expect from each plant come harvest? also strain is sativa AK47. They all looking healthy, and thier in roughly about 25litre sacks. Any advice appreciated

They look wonderful keep it up, You are going to get a decent yield my brother, don't worry, many factors can determine this as its hard to predict close numbers on outdoor plants. So it seems your about halfway through the season in the southern hemisphere? May i ask what country? Australia?

Not trying to be very rude here. But take away the pot height and those plants are not near 5 feet tall. They do look nice however :)

haha yeah id say in the sacks thier about 4ft tall tbh. but wondering how much taller/wider they will get? considering howlong they have been out for and howlong they have got to go

Well, at two mons in mine where around 4 foot or a little taller. Two months later they where seven feet tall and six feet across.
Only time will tell.

I topped mine twice, but I was worried about height. Its up to you. I / we dont know your lighting, wind, area, timing .... all that other stuff.
Only thing I can say about my grow was I wish I topped it sooner then I did.

i realise you just tie a couple branches down with some string or fishing line to the top of the pot or in the ground, but any procedures i have to follow ie specific branches, max angle to tie them, tie them in the middle or nearer the top etc. ive watered today and going to LST them tomorrow because after water they should be more flexible

its not that bad unless they start to take your soil. just fill all the empty space that you have and hold them down. try to make the tops as level as you can.

Hey guys time for an update.

Was a bit slack over the newyears with watering. didnt water for 2weeks found them very wilted when i came back, however gave them about 2litres of water each came back next day and they were fine again :weed: . However, watered them two days ago, went back today and they were wilting again, not as bad, but still not looking like they are flourishing.

I was surprised this was the case, as i used to water them each once a week about 1.4litres each. .Thier all in about 25litres of soil in growsacks. How much should i water them now? thier more than 2months into it and have started to see signs of budding.

If anyone could help with that perfect :-P

Anyway reason i went back today was primarily to LST them. Each plant has about 5-7 heads as i was topping them from clones. Is it important to have all heads level with eachother? i can see why LST would benefit just from doing it myself alot more sunlight throughout the plant etc, but i have to say all the heads arent on a level with eachother simply because i did not want to bend some of the main heads down that far, i didnt want to snap them.

Other issue i have now is a few of the plants heads are covered in fleas. yep fleas, not really what i expected. this is probly easy to solve but what would be the best way to solve this? i presume thier not doing the plants any good.

Ive attached a few pictures for you guys, any input welcome

1st photo 3 plants trained today
2nd photo 4 plants not trained yesterday
3rd photo different angle not trained yesterday
4th and 5th two different plants close up trained today

sorry about the pics quality taken off a phone, however you can see in the first picture 3plants where the main head on each has been LSTd. and then the other heads LStd in other directions. this is what those 3 plants looked like before LST, 1sr photo of them about 3weeks ago, and 2nd photo with the sunlight in it yesterday

haha i dont mind the work too much.. im going to buy some pyrethrum plants to put around them, apparently perfect for getting rid of insects bugs etc

Any input as to why after 1 day of the biggest watering they have been given they showed signs of droopyness once again? is it just because before then i hadnt watered them for 2weeks in the new year period and thier just catching up? or am i going to need to lug more water around as they get bigger? howmuch water per plant you think giving that they are in 25l sacks and about 4.5ft tall now

hey man looking good! doesnt matter if the heads arent level its more about light penetration. on my plants ive noticed heaps of flea like things hanging out in the new growth too. like heaps of them, im not sure if there fleas because there not to hard to squash with my fingers, dont even know what they are but they don't seem like there doing to much , i sprayed with neem oil and there still there so ill just leave them i suppose! good luck mate are you in aus?

yeah all in the new growth, pisses me off aye will def be grabing a couple pyrethrum plants. If i go back in 2-3 days and they are once again showing wilting signs, should i be worried, or is it just that i need to up the water dosage?

i wouldnt be to worried man, if there wilted they need water though, just means you need to go out more. They sometimes go limp when its really hot too and then bounce back fine the next day , being in the sacks they probly need more water than in the ground, i dont think you need to worry to much man looks like you got it sorted, there beasts!
