yeah that is true. those are small plants to be in 5 gallons. you should first start off in a one gallon

Do you know why the plants are so small?
Ive seen people who veg theirs for 30 days and they can flower them and they will be HUGE,
mine are 60-70 days old. ):
first 2 weeks of flower is when your plants will prep for flower production. looks like you have an indica dom room so i wouldn't expect huge yields...maybe 2 ounces max
(Sativas EXPLODE in flower)
whats your feeding sched? and is that 60-70 days vegged?

I feed every other watering with 3teaspoons per gallon, And yes that is days in veg.

I go from EZ Clone to 6" pots until they are tall enuf. Then right into 3 gal pots. But I plant 'em sideways for my setup lol

also as posted above. 5 gals are a bit to big. Although in reality you can stick plants in an size conatiner.
but what happens when you stick a small plant in a big container is, when you water it...and the roots havnt reached the bottom...the bottom 1/4th will turn to muck, cause nothing is there to wick up the water, this in turn causes problems.
And it probably is the number one reason why growers tend to "pot up" as needed. This is all based on my opinion.

Yea I think I will start using 3 gallons from now on. but what should I do
Wait lol. They appear quite healthy so whatever you are doing is good. Just keep doing it and they will grow. There will be a spurt at some point I predict

That's all wrong about the bottom 1/4 turning to muck because it has no roots. I don't even know what that means actually.
Lakew00d, I've started seeds in 5 gallon pots and grown them to maturity with no problems.

What do you recommend I do about the slow growth ): I did it before but I used shitty MG soil, when I dumped the soil the roots were even at the bottom,
I did ti the same way as i did most of this.

so if I have a seedling in a 5 gal container....and give the conatiner 3 gals of water.....the bottom doesnt turn to mud?
try it sometime..come back three days later......dig it up....MUD.
ooppps edit: YOU may know not to give that seedling 3 gallons of water......but who out there doesnt?

Yeah I'm not sure about that muck stuff either, assuming one has drainage. I bet it took some time before they really started expanding above soil though right jonblaze?

I don't know what 'expanding above soil' is in reference to, but I didn't have any growth problems.
