Guide to east coast power consumpion

Hey Just want everyone's opinion about running up the power bill on the east! swim had several different thoughts and feelings about this issue as it could pose security issues. One thing swims been thinking is separating his flowering plants into 2 different rooms and having them alternate so room one turns off and room 2 turns on. swim would do this so there is consistent usage all day. swim was also thinking for keeping the veg room on 24/0. In cali swim has defiantly had many power bills that he feels would shoot up a red flag on the east(800-1500$$). But who give a shit is cali right? Another thing swim has been pondering is Gas/Diesel generators which would have a run cost of 4-8k per 2 month flower cycle. Is there an amount say 400 dollar power bill that y'all east coasters try to stay under or whats the dealeo with doing larger setups. When swim lived on the east he only had 2 lights and wasn't worried about power bill sending red flags. Any thoughts would be appreciated. swims not a theif don't tell him to steal power even though its from an ass pirate polluting corporate power company. First hand experience would be appreciated feel free to PM me with idea's. THANK YOU RUI

Lol. Using constant power will be less suspicious than having a daily 12/12 only cycle and 18/6 veg like you already said. As far as generator goes, sure why not. My only problem with that is frequent trips to the gas station for fuel unless swim has a huge fuel tank at the grow site. Propane generator might be easier as lots of people have large propane tanks on property and you can call a propane company to come fill the tank. They won't care as long as your giving them money.
If swim has $$$ I'd invest in solar power. It's a large upfront cost but by far the best form. Completely off grid and don't have to deal with gas company, propane, electric etc.

as for straight electricity, I guess it depends on the building. If an average household then it's probably limited to say 4000w. With that I would recommend swim not use the house for not much else other than growing. No tv, washer dryer etc. but that's just me. I'm sure there's others running much more, but risking much more as well

Unless I'm in a legal state. Then I'd use as much power as my house can handle. I'd just grow trees

thats what swim has been doing but swim wants to move home. swim has 90 gallon external fuel tank with pump in his truck so fuel wouldn't be an issue. 4k watt total or 4kw plus veg?

Well if swim has the ability to transport that much fuel and run a diesel generator then that would be a great option for the whole grow.

something like this for example would work. The tank is small so personally I think swim would want to attach a larger tank. Reason being because the stock tank running at full load only runs for 5 hours. Again only a suggestion but definitely possible. The noise would also have to be controlled.
If swim wanted to use more either get a bigger generator and suffer the cost of fuel, or use the electricity. And 4000w would be total including veg. An average home in my area uses roughly $70-$150 worth of electricity a month (I know that's vague since cost per kw varies). But if swim uses a total of 4000w and NOTHING else, it would cost $150-$250 per month. Which is very reasonable and won't be suspicious. Swim must weigh the pros and cons of profit and risk in this situation. Better safe than sorry in an illegal state.

I live in Hilton head sc in an apartment and my girlfriend and I use some Damn power. Computers, big ass tv, lights, 750w of grow room, washer/dryer, kitchen stuff. and its never been a problem. (Knock on wood) We have a pre-paid meter but we spend roughly 200-300 a month. But I've always had a huge bill. When you move in start big so it seems normal id say.
