GUN TOTING MICHIGANIACS!

I'd worry that one cop would draw their weapon accidentally firing or "feeling their life was in danger" and doing the same. The "he was reaching for a weapon" story line/defense comes quickly to mind. What then, is it game on? I'm not sure such self defense would even be a conscious decision for some of us with years of combat training and experience, just chest to head for all wildly rapid firing 9mms unlawfully aimed my way until they stop firing ...

I think the only reason the cops don't get crazy is because they are on camera. You take away the camera you take away the safety net.

It would be nice to start a pig tracking service. Look on you smart phone and see where all pigs and snitches are at any moment.

I own a gun but its been in my closet with a trigger lock on it for 2 decades--its staying there I do believe. Guns are just asking for problems--even toy guns that little boys play with in parks. Now I live in a safe area, if I lived somewhere else--Like Detroit / Redford, that might be a different story, then the slight risk guns pose might not be enough to deter me from keeping it loaded and ready for action/

Same with driving a car, if U are carrying and some jerk claims U blew your horn at him and pointed a gun at them, then its your word against theirs if there is a gun in the passenger area of your car. (the person could just claim they seen a weapon and that is why they were driving fast or driving like a nut in a fit of road rage--that unlikely but still possible, road rage happens and cell phones turn every driver into cops)

Maybe I'm paranoid, well yeah I am but then again I don't have problems, better to be too safe vs not safe enough. Yeah a gun could save my life but I'm not sure if I could even shoot somebody if I had to, maybe but then U could freeze and have your gun turn against U or U could shoot and then the cops could claim U over reacted. My hands can shake when very scared, I could see how somebody could fire a gun when they did not mean too.

I do not recommend trying this unless you really know your laws, you cant open carry just anyplace you like . They must be looking for the attention from the police because they don't have a sign. usually a demonstrator would be carrying a sign and chanting something to draw onlookers. I think If you have a pistol on your hip in the open you shouldn't be messed with but two pistols and an ak47 seems a bit overkill. . My reaction to a group walking down the street in my direction with aks and ars would be call the cops and grab my own gun. On the other hand if they had a sign and were screaming stand up for your rights! I might even join them.

Now of days, I would not carry even a toy gun in public...any gun just gives the cops an excuse to open fire on U,. IMO.

I shutter to think how I ran around outside when 13 years old playing ape man with my planet of the apes toy machine gun...we used to play hide and seek and had to "kill" or be "killed"..it was fun until U got "shot". I played with toy guns since I was like 5 years old, had cap guns that went bang-bang...do they still make those ? Somehow I doubt it.

Yeah I know, we got this right to bear arms and I'm taking things too far, refusing to touch a gun, then again, there is nothing I want to shoot at. I used to enjoy target shooting but that got old in my 20's..as a teenager it was great..shooting pop or beer cans with a 12 gauge shotgun was so cool I used to think. Plus back then I had a place with lots a vacant land to shoot on, maybe if I had a place of my own to target practice on, I still would...gun ranges seem so "cop like"

I have a couple of those old paper capguns. I even have an old metal stamped one that pops when you pull the trigger. Yup now the cops are shooting little kids with toy guns. Back in the day my friend brought two decommissioned hand grenades and some ninja stars to school for show and tell. It wasn't a big deal then.

I used to sometimes bring a pistol to school when I was in like Grade 11 or 12 because I'd go by myself to the Sportsman's Club my Dad belonged to for target shooting on my free hour.

I kept it locked in my car and never told anyone, no big deal. Doubt kids can get away with that now!

Kids have no freedom and privacy today, no wonder they got little issues with sending nude photos of themselves to their friends...now the cops claim thats felony kiddie porn, unreal
