so the cop did resign? if so can he now be charged as a citizen?

You sir are an idiot... why destroy the lives of others who had nothing to do with the situation? How about you start the riot at your own house? Destroy that mofo, burn down the roof, make it 4th of July in January! The mother of the dead kid even pleaded with those in Oakland to stop the rioting and violence... I'm sorry if this comes off as an assholish thing to say, but if you participate in a riot where the own mother of the deceased says stop, you deserve to be shot as well. :wall:

I knew he was asking a question, but to even think of that question is idiotic in my opinion, rioting in situations like this do not do any good especially after what happened in '92. They would never allow that to happen again and it'll only get a bunch of people killed. And please, enlighten me to where I am confused... I've been following this from the beginning, I could say the same and say you are confused... you believe the officer intended to kill the guy, ludicrous. I agree he killed a civilian and should be jailed appropriately, but not with a murder charge, it wasn't murder.

i always love how cops are all badguys in some peoples minds. id like to see the day ther was no police and watch the carnage that follows.the only reason this is an issue is the fact that it was a white cop and a black man. if he would have shot a white 22 yr old this would have been like any other police involved shooting. since it was a black man the black community will use this as another excuse for hating white people and covering up their own racist ways .

I too feel sorry for those people, I've met many good officers and many are family friends... I know there are bad apples but that goes with any group. This man wasn't a bad apple, he just made a horrific mistake.

mistake or not, he fucked up and needs to answer to it. that's all i'm saying. regardless if he "meant" to, he shot an unarmed man DEAD in the back. time to man up, not run and hide. this is what i keep trying to say. you just keep focusing on it being an "accident".

Tell you what, if I accidentally shot someone and immediately started receiving threats on my family, my week old child, wife, and my self... the last thing I'd be thinking about is giving a public apology... think about it fdd.

i believe that people forget that 500000 white men died for black people to be free . now almost 150 years later we have a society that hates white people and their culture but not to worry our numbers dwindle and so when the white man is extinct you can have this whole planet to ruin since being free isnt enough, i have lived in a black area for quite a while and experience the hate and racism that they encourage on a daily basis why? why cant humans live in peace why must people be so set in one way of thinking

"immediately"? now you're making shit up. i have been sitting right here watching it ALL unfold. the threats came after he quit and REFUSED to give his statement. his child wasn't born the day it happened so how could they threaten his "week old child"? :roll:

i wonder why he's being threatened.

WHY is he hiding? no one else is. the cop standing next to him knows exactly what happened. he took 2 steps back. he's talking.

if it was an accident the FRIST thing i would do is apologize. since when do you NOT apologize? seriously?
