Guy bought 10 8th's?!

So this guy asks my buddy how much he can get an ounce for, and he says he only really sells 8ths. So he asks if he can get an ounce, and he says it would be (8 x $30) $240. So, the dude shows up and says he wants 10 8th's - so $300 for an ounce and a quarter.

Doesn't that seem really high? I mean, $30 an 8th isn't that bad, but there is normally a big break at an ounce. I dunno, mostly thought it was funny a guy bought 10 8th's and was cool with it.

I only smoke my homegrown now, but before I had that luxury I paid $300 an Oz... That seems to be the standard in my neck of the woods...

damn, where the eff you live that you get zips of kill for $240??? man, prices around me for a nice zip of some name brand bud you'd better be pulling out close to five bennies if you want to touch it.. :(

An ounce goes for like 300 around here.if you get it cheaper then that then you are doing good.Its. high quality but its a rip off.

*cough* $450-$500 here. I usually buy in quarter or half ounces of one guy because I know if I ask for an eighth, he'll bring me like 1.7

He wanted $75 for 1/8 of sensi star. I know that if I wait a little longer he'll suddenly have too much of one strain (his supply varies) and he'll be trying to give me an ounce for half of that or something. It varies, so I stock up and wait for the best offer to come up.

KT, as a grower, if you have to buy, your logistical planning is sorely lacking.

Dam, I'm glad to be living where I do after reading this thread lol. And I thought my 240 was pricey =X

jeeze if pot was that expensive I wouldn't even buy it. $290 online for an ounce, locally I used to pay $200 for the same quality though.

If someone tried to tell me some BS about only selling 1/8ths I'd find another dealer. He can do it, he just wants to rip you off more because he probably pre rips off each bag

we've got nice bud options/prices around here... 220 for a zip of good stuff 300 for your big names (sour diesel, kush) but fuck that, I just roll blunts and spliffs why wouldn't I be happy with a 220 O.. it's no mexican shit either it's either a good outdoor or a decent indoor. shoot when I went to school I had a hook up for 200 a zip for dro. it is pretty funny he bought ten eighths haha shit he shoulda hit me up I'd give a break. and if someone made me purchase by the eighth I'd buy ONE eighth. but yes I also live in an area with lots of kids that have good money but don't know shit... I'm sure my friends have pulled the same thing lol

It's usually 300-50 for an ounce here of DANK. I can usually get it on the low end of 300 but I always seem to know the middle man and never the supplier. I envy my friends that can get the same quality of bud for 100+ bucks less than I can just because they know the main guy.

that's what I was thinking too...man, I could almost pay airfare and get a zip for $240 and STILL come out ahead. They're around $450 here.
