So the plants were doing good this morning before I left for paintball practice, but as I was gone the girlfriends family wanted to come over and check the place out (just had major floor repairs, just finished yesterday). So she had to close up the closet, which cut off the a/c source and with a 400watt light I am sure it got pretty damn hot in there.

She said the closet was only closed for about 20 minutes and after she opened closet back up everything looked good still. When I got home from practice a few minutes ago the plants looked horrible! At least my plant on the Right side of tent did.

Im really curious if this is going to cause any major problems for me as I am 2 days into flowering. The first group of pictures are how the plants looked earlier.

The last 3 pictures are of how they look now.

All input and help is greatly appreciated! Will surely +rep

- I posted this thread also in the Plant Problem section about an hour ago with no replies but really looking for replies in case there is anything I need to do asap. So sorry for the double thread post.

whats the temps like? and how far away is the bulb from the top of the plants? Have you changed the usual feeding or lighting cycle recently?

It looks like over/under watering to me.

Well The light is about 10-12 inches above the plant that is messed up (other plant is a bit smaller). Temps are alright. Normally around 78ish, my a/c was acting up when I got home and tent was like 83-84, but got that back under control quick like.

I have changed lighting cycle as I just started flowering 2 days ago. I normally give them about half gallon every few days. Tomorrow is when they get watered again but I gave both plants about 1/5 of a gallon just a minute ago in case they needed the water (will give the full feeding in morning).

Girlfriend said plants were looking fine about an hour before I got home. So it went from fine to the way it looks in above pictures in about an hour. I figured it was heat problems that caught up to it from earlier when she closed closet.

Thanks for replies tho. Hope it was just water issue.

a plant can grow well in conditions 75-85 degrees so I dont think that the heat would have caused that. it does look like a watering problem. I had a plant do this once and I flushed it really well and the next morning it was as if nothing happened. hopefully you have good draining soil so that you can flush it and basically that will allow you to start from scratch. your baby should come right back to life. goodluck hope that makes sense..kinda stoned:)

Well great. I gave them both a nice lil drink last night right as Lights out. Will give them their full feeding this morning once lights come back on. Appreciate all the comments. Hope to see it in good shape once lights come back on, or at least before days end.

Make sure you don't water until the top layer of soil is dry. You may be feeding them too much.

I want to cry. I think it looks even worse now. Looks like it wants to die! =(

The other plant isnt that bad tho. Looks like it will be fine soon enough.
It's just a little shock, it'll bounce back, just don't do anything foolish like over-watering it.

I need to buy a bottle for misting. Considering they are getting bigger and now under a 400w light I should have been giving them more water. Im sure it was from underwatering now that everyone mentioned it. They appear to be doing great today!
