once your trash hits the curb it is city property you dont own the curb side, 90% of the busts around here is from cops going in the trash and finding anything

Fuck yeah, I'd do whatever trifflin shit I could tomy garbage so that when they go in it they'd think you were some sort of weirdo. Shit in Walmart bags and piss in spaghetti jars and save money on your water bill and piss of the bitches thats diggin in your trash. This shit makes me mad just hearing about it.
 
yea so i drove by the local police station today and saw the truck that took my trash, definitly a cop. so kind of a good thing i got rid of them. incase they want to get a warrant

LOL. Seriously, come on now people. Trash doesn't 'belong' to the city once you put it on the curbside. It has nothing to do with being on your property or ownership in general. It has to do with reasonable expectation of privacy. That is also why unlocked sheds and unattached garages are often searched without warrants. Locking things up and posting "no trespassing" signs on your property boundaries gives you more expectation of privacy and makes it harder for LEOs to snoop without running afoul of the 4th Amendment.
 
Damn. In my opinion weed should be legal, but there is some idiots out there who aren't as responsible as some of us when they use it. That really sucks man, but let the fuckin' government investigate you because they will do what they want. You made a good choice. If they would have had a warrant and you were doing an illegal grow you would be going to the house, but if they do now your good. If they don't of well... what if they did? You lost one harvest. Get back on the horse after they do there work and come back with some bomb bay.

Shitty luck, but good luck w/ the pigs!
 
yo cut this guy some slack if he had reason to do it then he had a reason. 3 ft of ur property is township property thats how they can look through it, and if there was an investigation in the area then i would do the same thing.
