lookin awesome!! Im finishing up my new grow box today with cool tube (got a 250w hps) and will be puttin mine into flower hopefully tonight. Its day 34 of veg!! haha

How long will plants last without heat & power???????????????????????

My power went out for 6 hrs this morning and joyfully just came back on. It's cold here and more snow later today. Hopefully it'll stay on. I can't reset the timers until I get home tonite, but they should be okay??....xx'd.

damn idk thats a big chunk of time for the 12/12, it is the first time so i think they should be fine, maybe wait for some more answers, good lucc

I'm more concerned with the drop in temps than the light cycle interruption. I feel better now that the power is back on. I was stressing for awhile this morning. The last 2 times it went out, it took 4 days to get the power restored.

I'll post new pix of my "flower children" tomorrow. I'm a 60's type guy.

5th Week in flower.
58 days from seeds germed in paper towels.
3 White Widows & 3 Big Bud's - 13 1/2"-14 1/2" from stem to tops. The 150 w hsp is still 14" away from the tops.

It's been a tough week. Relatives in for the holidays and a 5 hr power outage. Temps have been very low as it's been below zero here the past week.

Not much height this week and that's what I want. Flowers are really popping and growing bigger this week. Flowers on all tops and internodal branches. Between lollipopping the lower leaves, removing some bigger fan leaves and smaller branches, I am keeping them small. That have only grown about 1/2", but now have flowers on all nodes. I'll continue to thin out lower growth and focus on growing buds now. Not gigantic ones, but lote of smaller ones since it's for smoke and not show.

I syphoned out all the soup I could and refilled the tank with Fox Farm week 7 (mod) feeding of: 2 tsp - Grow Big, 2 tsp - Tiger Bloom, 1 Tbl - Big Bloom, - 1/2 tsp - Beastie Bloom and diluted it to get ppm's in the 1000-1100 range.








12/28: MY GROW SETTINGS FOR 5th WEEK OF FLOWERING:
  1. Lighting - 150 w hps, 3-100w cfl, 1-150 w cfl and the AG 3 light hood all set on 12/12 timers.(Added 2 more cfl's on splitters -4 total)
  2. AG Pro200 - set now on Tomatoes
  3. 4" airstone running 24/7
  4. Added 6" fan running when lights are on. (Turned off to help raise air temp.)
  5. 10" oscillating fan blowing on leaves 27/7 (Revised - Previously running only when lights were on)
  6. Air temp range- 63-76 (To low)
  7. Humity range - 35-46 (Okay)
  8. Water temp - 71 -72 (to high)
  9. Ph - 5.2-5.5 Keping it acidic. I hear lots of AG grows get root root so I'm keeping it in the lowest range possible without locking out nutes.
  10. Nutes: 1000 ppm - 1100ppm Fox Farm (organic) nutes - Plannning to just top off w/bottled RO water.
  11. Drained and changed to FF Wk7 feeding schedule, modified and adjusted nute strength to 1000-1100ppm
Help me along here guys. How am I doing and what can I do to help out my grow?

Thanks SICC, I'm working on it. Yeah, 3 - WW & 3 BB in a 1 gal tank. I'm gonna prune them and keep them all. Go read the post again. I just updated my grow stats for the past week below the pictures I just uploaded. lmk what you think..

its like you got six damn trees in there haha, again, usually stuff like power outages if it happend only once there isnt much to worry about, and i think its a good idea to do the lollypoppin, keep em nice n low, but doing that actually does make the buds bigger and more potent, i know you said it was for show but they will produce some good lookin buds ;) with the HPS lighting you will have great results, you shouldnt worry too much ma you got it down haha bongsmilie

Thanks for the input. I can use all the help I can get. This is my first water grow, ever. It'll be interesting to see if I can keep 6 midgets alive in there. I still have plenty of room for the roots so we'll see.

How can you tell which grow is Hairy's? It's the one that says Badass Motherfucker on it!! Dude, your plants look AWESOME!! I love how your cleared out the lower growth to get light into the lower leaves--that's a problem I'm going to have to deal with down the road-- my plants are gettin a little too bushy for their own good ;-)

If you're concerned abut power outages, you might want to look into an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), like the kind they use on computers! I use one on my grow, and it works great!! It was only able to keep my grow going for about 15 minutes during a power outage, but that meant only 20 minutes of darkness instead of 35--better than the alternative!

Hope it stays thay way. I think the air stone, water & nutes are giving them all the nourishment they need do they dont need to reach out much to get them...

Hehehe..Almost fell over laughing!!! Your post is outrageous!!!
You can trim the shit out of the lower leaves and branches and it'll use less water, nutes, etc and it open it up to get light down low.

Hopefully no more power losses but who knows. Since I've been here we have had 2 bad ones over the years. One, I was out 4 days and another 5 days. Screwing up the timer settings from the power outage really pissed me off. I'm very glad the lights werent out lonwer. I was really concerned about the drop in temp. Hopefully, that's all behind me now.

I'm going for lots of popcorn or bigger buds because off all the plants. They have LOTS of tops that are starting to flower so I'll cut out lower branches so growth will be focused on the those tops. I may get a few decent size nugs in the process as well...... Those little growing tips I remove have enfff THC in them for a litle buzz.

I'll sugar them up really good and flush before harvest. This shits just for me so it doesn't have to be pretty.

Any suggestions, tips, comments, etc are most welcome. I need all the help I can get!

I had the same problem bro. And i realized if u are using seeds from a site and not bag seed u can only plant 2 in the AG for them to have enuf room to get to be a good size. I planted my kush and that shit is takin up 80% of the AG. My other 2 u cant even see and i have to bend leaves just so they can get light. There is just not enuf top room space to grow as well as root space to grow. To get a good size plant and a good harvest only plant 2 tops. I learned my lesson once the roots run outta room to grow they start gettin tangled and strangle each other to death and the plants stop growin. U have seen my pics of the kush i havent even topped the plant and look how bushy it is. Good luk my man im subscribed fo sho
