Hanging your Grow Light question

How close to your plant do you keep your grow light during each stage? I've seen some say that keep it 24" above during flowering. Would that be the same for Seedling/Vegging?

depends on the light...t5's can get right on top of plants ....mh/hps need to be kept at a distance....the closest your plant can handle it the better without burning her.

it depends on the size of ur light and what kinda setup ur running. is it an aircooled hood with a nice fan cooling it? my air cooled hood has a 1000hps in it right now and its about 12 inches or so from the tops.

put your hand at the plants canopy if its uncomfortable then rise the light. you should by able to get that light pertty close. how big of a area you going to put it in?

Should I use the MH Bulb while Seedling? I'm using a spare closet, roughly 5'x4'x8' (5.5' if measured to the under bottom of highest shelf where the light is located) with Mylar.

put yer hand under the light,,burns ur hand it will burn ur plant,,,the lower the light,the less stretch, make sure ur fan blows between the light and plant tops is a good idea too
