Hey Guys Ever Had this Problem With Your Hanna 98129.Seems When I Swirl It Around The Ph Lowers IE It May Stop At 6.25 Then I Swirl It Around It Lowers the Ph Reading And After About 5 Minutes Of Repeating The Process It Finally Stops And Find A Consistant Number. It May Start At 6.25 But At the End Of My Swirling It Finally Hits A Constant Number Sometimes As Low As 4.12?????Anyone Have Any Suggestions On Why This Has Happen.I Never Noticed This Before

One thing I can tell u is that I hear many complaints about Hanna testers...try Milwaukee, Oakton, or Bluelab. Some swear by the fact that they are all guaranteed to break so go for a cheap model in anticipation of replacing it.

I will tell you I won't buy another hanna ph... EC meter seems to be fine though....

They tell you it's calibrated out of the box (mine even came with a paper saying it was) BS!!! If you just got it and you're seeing problems calibrate it, it made a huge difference... make sure you buy both 7.01 and 4.01 to calibrate.

Im On My Second Grow And I Calibrated It Before This Grow And Replaced Batterys.I Noticed This Change About 3 Days Ago.I Have All Calibrated Solutions 4.01,7.01 And The 1413 Ppm Solution.I Also Bought A New Diode And It Will Not Calibrate.Im Taking The Meter To The Hydro Shop Tomorrow To See Whats Up With The New Diode.I Know You Growers Are More Knowledgeable In This Area Than The Hydro Shop Dude. Thanks For The Help And Support

I Went To The Hydro Shop And The New Diode Was Bad So He Replaced It.So When I Got Back I Tested Both Diode's And They Both Read The Same Although It Took A Couple Of Minutes Of StirringTo Get The Correct Reading With My Old One.So I Hit The Net Again And In My Research I Found Out That Impropper Storage Of Unit Can Cause This.I Stored My In Plain Tapwater During My Grow And I Let It Dry Out After While I Prepairing For My Next Grow.Big No No On Both. You Should Never Store In Plain Tapwater Always Store In A Ph Soulition.Storing In Plain Water Will Cause A Mineral Buildup Causing The Ph Meter To Not Work Right. So When I Go Pick Up My Zho Power Im Picking Up A Packet Of Hanna Cleaning Solution.Peace And Hair Grease :weed:
