Ready to start another grow but this time was trying to make things go a little smoother. Found this Continuous meter on bay for a good price but have never owned a Hanna meter and am not sure what to expect. There is 1 review on Amazon and it wasn't good. I have RA and if this is good I won't have to be scupping and bending alot. It would be great if someone with experience with these continuous monitors would offer up some advise. Not a noob but am to new monitors. Thanks in advance.

I hate continuous meters. The probes get dirty as hell sitting in nutrient solution all day(the proper storage medium is 0ppm water for tds and ph storage solution for ph). If you have multiple res's(or may upgrade later) you have to buy another meter. I do own Hanna meters, however and am satisfied with their quality. Their customer service is great, too.

I know this is a little late but that meter is horrible for indoor grows. I did my research and found others with my exact same problem. Anytime my pump turned on the meter would go nuts and shut off. I found out later it was due to a poor cheap electronic in the meter. Not accurate at all if you have near a ballast or any other device. WASTE OF MONEY.

You are supposed to take a sample out of your res. I have a really good Hannah Gro Check and it did the same take a sample of water with a clean cup and do your tests there, works perfect and yes with Hanna you get better life out of your meters if you use the storage solution.
