The new hydro lights are nice but ordering direct from China has enabled many to have top shelf lighting for bottom shelf pricing. DIY or all built.

I am still stinging from my Mars reflector door stop. But I am really glad to see you are getting MUCH better lighting offerings.

All my lights shipped from within the states. I literally had my lights 48 hours after ordering.

I think Mars has really been stepping up their offerings, there is just a lack of motivation from growers that experienced the Blurple craze. It left a lot of us with a bad taste in our mouths, while it is reassuring that data is testing well; manipulation in the past of data has left us wary.

The best thing mars could do is provide true side by side grows with hard data, to help influence their rebranding effort.

An entire look at a Mars hydro run vs say a Timber or HLG run from clone would be enlightening; I believe would be revealing that there are budget options with decent efficiency and coverage as simple as an Amazon cart away.

I have not tested it, but I'd be willing to bet that three sp-250 lights would stand up to a new 1000w DE Gavita and outperform. I'd also wager three sp-250 (total 750w) would out perform any prebuilt 600-660w fixture in the $800-$1400 range.

But I'm not willing to spend the money until I can see and trace the results.

I run two TSL-2000's , one TS-1000 and pretty close to pulling the trigger on a TSW-2000. I can't speak for their company in the past, BUT, I can say that I am getting great results with their current TS series lights. The difference between the SP and TS series is basically the placement of the diodes.

It will be awhile, but I've got 2 sp250's to replace some HID lights in summer so I can try reducing my electrical spread. Won't have much results wise to post for a few months.

The big question I think will be how they last long term running for the year and if there is any drop off in the output. I took some measurements for now and will try to update back with details for the forum.
