hard candy recipe

i have looked online and i have found a few but i would like to see what the fine folks of RIU have to say.

looking to make suckers or something of that nature, i was making capsules with my reclaim but people are wanting something different

i have 14 grams of reclaim that has been winterized, and actually has a nice taste to it completely clean looks like glass. i clean my rig every so often and use everclear, then i stick the mix in the freezer for a day or 2 then filter

what i am looking for is a basic recipe someone one here has used, and that can give me the details on the dosage how many suckers each batch will make and if there are any tricks

yes i have already use the search function to locate other threads and could not find anything amongst the mess

ill be making hard candies in the future, ill be sure to post my results and recipes used. caramels are easier and fucking bomb.just saying...people always ask for caramels now.

Man fuck that bull shnizey.......I got banned from cannabis.com because I got in an argument with a mod named burnt toast.. I literally pulled 10 scientific journal entries proving my point about pectin passing a drug test...I got banned for spreading false info...all because I disagreed and he was the mod, also the first poster in that thread.... he thought he knew everything cause he worked for some company idk..........they are idiots over there...........still love rick Simpson like some god......actually there are many reasons not to go there..pectin works for me and my step dad on probation, he uses it once a month to pass and smokes daily even test day..I use it at my job every other month or so

and i think i might try to make caramels because kat points out something that the thc has a hard time absorbing because of the lack of fats in the hard candies and suggests adding a little oil and make then almost like caramels

yea with hard candies its a lil tricky because of basically zero fat. caramels are all fat. i make some soft and some toffee like. something for everyone! recipe calls for brown sugar, cream, butter, vanilla, done lol i like mine like a sugar daddy consistency...

turned out better then i expected, do yal want to know the recipe?

ill tell you anyways
salty canna caramels
items-
candy thermometer
1 quart sauce pan nonstick
i recommend a nonstick stirring item (if you look in the first picture it gets stuck on every thing)
parchment paper (i used coconut oil spray, should have used the paper that i have rolls of every where)
use a 6x9 dish (optional)
ingredients-
1 and a quarter cup of sugar
1/3 cup whipping cream
4 and a half table spoons of salted butter (i used unsalted i will get the salted next time)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 tea spoon of salt (i will use a full teaspoon next time)
oh and 4 grams of re-claim that has been winterized so basically it has been blasted decarbed and winterized (left pic is the 10 grams i have left after the 4 was taken out)

sauce pan medium heat sugar to 350 stir while doing this
when sugar hist 350 and is all caramelized pour in the cream and stir
turned down the heat just a touch
once it is at 300 throw in the butter (i pre-heated the butter and dissolved the 4 grams in) and the vanilla and the salt
stir till all mixed in
then once it cools to about 120 pour it in your pan or right onto your paper
then i sprinkled some salt on top

reclaim doesnt have a resin or flavor from smoking?

i use a cup of cream and a stick of butter. for about the same size pan. shit looks bomb tho, pass me one for testing purposes...

i wanted them to be a little harder i dont like soft caramels

nice, score with the flavor! reclaim smell turns me off but i may try it since my shit is more vapors and less scorch. also, i fucked my shit up irst time around. i wanted that hard chew and i got hard crunchy. toffee. shit was still da bhomb lol

made more doubled the amount of hash and they still taste great in fact they taste better, my brother think i burnt the sugar the first time around
so 8 grams of hash = 340 grams of caramel = 32 candies ranging from 9.6 to 11 grams each 8 /32 = .25 grams of hash in each
and there was a few grams in the pot and on the spoon so i am sure its not a full .25

whats everyone's ratio of hash in each candy they make?
