Hey,

I´ve got these 2 White Lemon sisters and they are only at the 4th Flower week.

Looking at them i see that they have lots of amber/burn trichomes but Looking through the microscope i see that the trichomes are transparent/white.

I´m a bit confused. Hope you guys can help, thanks.

Smoke it. You'll see. It is not ready. I think you might be missing a detail. The Pistils (hairs) are still quite immature and only beginning to turn brown at the very tops.

After about 8 weeks or so, you will see these are 70%+ brown and orange. At that point, I take samples to my USB microscope ($90 adafruit.com) and examine them for percent of white to clear to amber.

Then, for me only, I like to pick when I see the ratio of amber to clear, to be about equal. IOW, mostly cloudy white. If I pick early it will be a more goofy and short stone. Later pick, it will be more couch lock and longer lasting. ....for me.

Good for you.

When you get a good magnifying glass you will see the Pistils HAVE tricomes, too. :)
