harvest early?? what do you think?

hello,

alright, i've been growing my plant since july. it's been in flower for about 45 days...

my dilema:

there's some sort of problem with the waterwall at my apt complex. there's some leaking in my bathroom, and in the apartment above...

i just received notice a plumbing service will be stopping by to check the waterwall either today or tomorrow, and that if there is no one here, management will let them in. so either way someone is coming in here to check my bathroom, to find the problem.

the decision:

my plant is still a good week away from being done. about 75% of the tricomes are milky, with the other 25% being split between clear and amber.... the pistils are almost completely amber.... but it still looks like there's a good week or two before it's at it's "peak"...:cry::cry:

should I cut my plant? there is really no alternative with regards to moving it right now, i have a friend who can look after it, but i'd be breaking the #1 rule, and I don't want to do that. plus i'd have to share some of my harvest. and the fact that the plant stinks, and there's a lot of foot traffic in my building....

should I just cut it and put my box away?? i can move it into my room, but the waterwall of the complex also reaches the back part of the closet, so they might go into the room... i don't know at this point. it might be a simple leak, that can be fixed with a tightening, or it might involve changing some pipe fittings, i just don't know... all I know is there is a little water in my bathroom floor, and apparantely there's a lot of water in the apartment above.....:confused::confused:

i'm kinda thinking I should chop it today, no sense in getting evicted or even arrested over a plant....

opinions please... i really don't know what to do....

thanx!

i think you should give it the ax

alot of outdoor growers are harvesting early because its getting cold earlier, so your not the only one who needs to make a premature cultivation

true that... it's just since it's my first grow it's not a lot of yield, but i wanted it to be as good as it can be...

i'm just gonna go down into the office and tell them to come at some point tomorrow, and chop tonight...

i'll say i don't want anyone in my apt without me there, the management here is really cool, so they'll oblige...

I would cut it, i also had to cut about a week early because of security reasons. The plant turned out fine and i didn't get caught, it was a good season.

Just move it dude lol..
i live in a 1 bedroom apt with a girlfriend who's an art freak. so there's a bunch of art stuff all over the house, no room for much, that's why the plant's in the bathroom....

i'm not moving it out of my house during the day, there's too many people walking around, there's like 1000 apt's at this complex, and i live right by the office and my stairs are right by the mailboxes, there's always someone there.... i walked my dog at 1am last night, it was 40 degrees outside, raining, and I ran into a neighbor outside....

it's ax time i guess...

alright, another question:

do you guys think a nice 2-3 week cure after I dry the buds to make them as good as possible is a good idea?? should the airtight jar be in a pitch black place or not??
