Alright guys first grow and its almost October. I live in New England and I was wondering how close I am to harvesting all the leaves are starting to fall off the trees now and will become a problem camouflaging my plant. Also its supposed to rain the rest of the week and im concerned about mold/bud rot. Tell me how close i am and if i should harvest soon incase of mold. Thanks guys.

if its gonna rain all week it's hard to tell...you'll probably run into mold but who knows how much. are you able to check it every day? if so just let it go as long as possible.

Those buds are way further along than mine - I am also in NE. Just keep checkin out for mold and keep your ears out for helicopters. I had choppers buzzing my property EVERY DAY and they wiould be about 20 ft above the tree line, camp over one of my grow patches for a min or 2, then fly to the other, and camp there for another minute or two. This started in late september, and went on all the way through october until I pulled the plants. PARANOID CITY. I have no doubt they were scopin' em, but nothing ever happened about it. I'm probably on some list or something now :o

This year I waited until July to get the plants in the ground so they won't be as big and noticeable, and grew more plants in around them for better camo. Smaller plants means smaller yield though :(

Those buds looks great man! If you can get out after every rain and shake em off, or even improvise a rain coat for em, I'd say leave em in for a few more weeks. That way you'll get really ripe, tight buds at peak maturity. They'd be great smoke now though, so don't consider it a loss if you want to play it safe and grab at least a bunch of the densest, most at-risk buds now. I live in Northern Vermont and had some plants way out in the boonies so I couldn't visit but once a week. I ended up pulling almost everything out on Sunday because in one week my densest, best plant got devastated by mold and the others were starting to go the same way. This week's mad rainy too. The bud could've used a few more weeks, but it still looks killer, covered in crystals. So if you live near me, you might wanna consider grabbing at least some stuff unless you can be really vigilant. Great job though man from a fellow NE grower

not sure what part of new england you're in but southern NE (ct, ma, ri) doesn't usually get first frost til the end of october. the further north you go the sooner frost hits, but even a quick frost isn't going to kill them. they look a bit on the sativa side so you could be talking late oct harvest. they look nice though. don't worry too much about the moisture unless you can't watch them. just get them through it. the air/weather will dry out soon enough.

im in the same boat.. leave em till end of October, After the rain just go out and shake (carefully) out the water and keep checking for mold

I live in Northern Pennsylvania and I just harvested mine acouple days early because of a mold issue and the fact that we just got 4 days of rain and I didnt want to loose any more of my crop to that shit, but if your pics are current photos of your plant Id say it looks like you got another week at the least mabe 2 weeks at the very latest. Best thing to do is get a 30x pocket microscope off ebay ($8) then youll be able to check the color of your tricomes. Nice tops by the way good luck and be safe
